When I bought my 1.3FLX, I was already informed that 1.6FLX coming out soon. Cars, like cameras etc will always have new models/technology etc. Cannot keep on waiting for new models or regret after buying. Ask yrself the right questions.

I asked myself:
Does FC matter to me?
Do I need to 0-100 in under 10sec? (I am old man now)
Do I need to race with Mr Beng?
If I need a fast performance car, do I need to look at Proton?
Do I just want a cheap but decent 2nd car that does not make my heart pain so much and spend the savings on better things in life?
etc
*
Agree.....how can u follow???
later come out SE.....or SE EXE..n etc

at then end go for other brand......

Dear,

I'm very interested to purchase a FLX with CVT and executive line.
I was wondering my friend have been saying that CVT is not that "powerful" to drive when on highway or something like that. Although there's the "simulation of 6 gear" it'll still be slow. I wonder if that's true.

Well, having driven the Inspira 6-speed CVT, the FLX is indeed "slower" in that context. Not slower, but lazier. It takes its own sweet time switching gears, unlike the CVT in the Inspira, with the paddle shifts wub.gif

Okay, let me rephrase this.

Engine Oil
You're safe to use any type of engine oil. Semi synthetic or fully synthetic, it's up to you. Go fully syn if you got the budget for it, otherwise, just use semi. All engine oils are the same. Base oil same, only depends on what additives are added in. Petronas, Shell, Castrol are all 95% similar.

Fuel Consumption
Want to get better mileage? Be light footed. Dont friggin bother getting those so-called petrol savers. The dont work. Regular servicing, checking tire pressure all helps. Driving style and traffic condition are the 2 major contributors to bad/good FC. Learn to know how to shift early. Or be like some of us, we couldn't care less about FC. We just enjoy our ride as it is.

Shit...lucky i didn't spend a fortune on security tint....WASTE MONEY!!!! doh.gif

I think u all mistaken the purpose of security tint, its only assured your window don't break "easily" in short time . It's don't assured u it will sustain just like bullet proof glass . Main purpose of security tint is to prevent break and run ,to prevent you get harm by violent forces wen you in the car . Don't mistaken security film is bullet proof for common sense. For example your park at low crowd area , and ur no Whr to be seen, its take 10min to take out your window glass in one piece. Trust me
