The following daily chart gives a short-term perspective for Apple Inc: (NASD: AAPL)

AAPL rallied since the stock put in a bottom in April 4, 2013. Since then, the stock already climbed 18,32%.
At the moment, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is above the previous high, and despite the price is still lower than the previous high, 463,53, I think this is a positive sign. Another positive sign is that the exponential moving average 10 green has just crossed with the rise the exponential moving average 50 purple, something that did not happen for a long time.

Apple finally has some movement. It seems 460 is its resistance.
Since it (so far) cannot breakout 460-465 resistance, the downtrend started Sep 2012 continues. The next lower lows could be 350-360? hmm:

It could be.. but it is now just a minor pull back. Support still at 428-430. I think the late comers will come in and buy there.

So, far we got a nice 6 trading days pull back here. smile.gif

The dividend/buyback exercise may support it from falling further....perhaps. laugh.gif

Yes, the floor is temporarily set now at 385 with their debt funding for divi holders and stock buy back annoucement after the Q2 earnings BUT it still about earnings and products cycle for this company.
They really need another wow factor for the growth to accelerate otherwise it will be just like Microsoft.

today's the day for a dip with most of the not encouraging European data, it would be double whammy if the PPI is not so good as well.

Lol...the European stock rises, they are confident ECB will pump in more money biggrin.gif .

wow...it really works for these machines! drool.gif
if it breaks 380, I guess it will test the 350-360 land? drool.gif
but it's a bit tricky now, since the 50/20 days MA line is about to cross over to the bull category. Volume is steady and RSI at upper but falling slowly....what's your opinion? notworthy.gif

google looks like previous apple now.... biggrin.gif

Yes, those machines have algorithms programmed to recognize the key moving averages and once they broke, they get the "SELL" signal and flush down the toilet. Whooshh!! laugh.gif

The consolidation price action of 350-360 was heavily defended back between Aug and Oct of 2011. Before we get down to there, the late comers will probably buy at 380-400 level giving it some support.

In order to get there, the general market also have to pull back, not just AAPL. wink.gif

Overnight, there was the analyst who cited that AAPL could get to $240 based on his 50% ROIC model..
most bearish I have ever seen. shocking.gif

Yes, leverage thru GLL (inverse 2x GLD). Up another 2% tonight!

Also, continue to play the short AAPL here... Very good nice tradable pattern. biggrin.gif

Soros sold 85% of his holding in Apple in 1Q 2013.
Funny how, Soros almost sold all his holdings of banks and insurance companies, where WB continues to buy WFC.

WB long term everything... Soro's is hedge fund mgr, so he much shorter term everything chasing returns.

Many hedge funds also trimming their holdings of AAPL because it is over owned.

Anyway, I'm out for AAPL shorts for now. Only for half of what I was expecting. sad.gif
Too many bargain hunters at 420-425 for now. Should have cover everything.. but oh well. doh.gif

Psst.. wanna to play another volatile stock? brows.gif
Take a look at TSLA (maker of luxury electric car).

Yesterday pull back to below 80.. today gap to 90s.
Lots of shorts on this one, squeezing still in play.
