Can I request to use fully synthetic oil during the 1k service ah? If yes, obviously need to add $$$ right?

Thanks guys!

Saw from one of the previous post which one lyn member only need to top up the difference for changing to fully synthetic. I done mine at EON SC at Glenmarie and they don't allow top up sad.gif. End up have to pay in full for the fully synthetic oil, and took back the semi synthetic one.

Geoje.

our engine is louder than waja or myvi in the morning after cold start, sounds like diesel engine...no worries, after warmed up it will be purring very quietly when RPM hovers around 600-700...then you will only notice the tak tak sound while driving at times, which is the a/c compressor doing its job...BUT if you are doing the daredevil stunts like our unker Matrix then you wont notice any sound...
*
I seriously haven't heard any tak tak sound....i dun do daredevil stunts anymore oready....sudah retired.

Sorry to hear that bro. I'm having a 'duk duk' sound when going over bumps. Sometimes there's a faint 'kreak' sound from the rear.
And I thought all those sounds will be history after the Waja.

Bro, were the suspension components sourced locally ? From the sounds it's making, I suppose it is locally sourced.

dont know if it is bone or the bushing. it started when it rained heavily and kena alot of water. the left side will always kena more water than the right, i dont know if that is the cause. hard to believe, b4 rain, it was ok, no sound whatsoever. once rain, the sound is back where it started 2 weeks ago

seriously, this is my last proton. sad.gif

that 1 different problem..this one, only a few kena, and it is always the rear left only. i think water kena the bush and make that sound. this is ridiculous, i bought this car cuz 1st batch, mostly japan parts and true, the japan parts, not even 1 problem. but proton had to screw this car up.

It was quite faint, so can't really say whether it's from the left side...will look out for it again.

This is what happens when parts are sourced from sub-standard vendors. A nice car spoilt by these kinda crappy issues.

major one is suspension ,
every time pass pump sure got krok sound from rear left
if fast front and rear also got krok sound.
my driver B pillar seatbelt area there got rattling sound, if radio volume switch to quite high and when the song a lot of bass can hear the rattling sound also.
my driver door B pillar sticker stick not nice since the day 1 i received my inspira.

Added on October 8, 2011, 11:24 pmbtw, izit true that change to aftermarket suspension and spring can solve all the weird sound when pass the bump? anyone who change your suspension can give some comment , please? if yes better save money now....no point to keep complain and the problem still exist.

i immediately took a photo of left and right rear absorber area, the only difference is that the left is wet and the right is dry.

maybe it could be the dog bone or the bushings.

im staying in hostel, cant try.

but weird, when have sound, it'll persist for a long time.

also, why our bushings dont have grease? or should it be without grease?

the best thing is, when change absorber, it reduces the sound alot.

Yea...when the bass in a song is high, there's a buzzing from the driver's area...more like from the door panel. It can be heard when going over roads with rough surfaces. I wonder if adding sound damping material to the doors will help...hmmm.
To find time to go the SC is another thing. Dunno if they can solve it or not. Or they could make it worse ! What happened to Proton's claim that they've improved the interior built quality ???
