1. Brand = Any
2. Budget = <2000 3. Specs = Intel HD 3000, must be able to open the notebook 180 degrees 4. Size = <12 inch By the way, should I take the Intel HD 3000 over the AMD 6320 (in the Fusion E450)? HD 3000 has any compatibility issues? |

With that budget, closest is Vostro 3350 with HD6490M, but better spend it on 14'' with GT540M or equivalent..

QUOTE(nsfeng @ Oct 10 2011, 01:12 AM) how abt... You might want to consider a 14" laptop instead, in which the closest (for that budget) would be the Asus N43SL (non-Jay Chou version), need to try to find one though 1. Brand = Any brands except Acer 2. Budget = 2000 - 2400 3. Specs = Graphic can play future games like MW3 with low-medium setting. 4. Size = less then 14 inch 5. STRONG BATTERY!!!! If you can up your budget abit, then the Jay Chou N43Sl would be a great choice as well~ |

Asus A43E, i3-2310M + Intel HD3000@RM1649[2.44kg], FreeDOS (2years warranty) (remaining $$ can extend warranty) Toshiba Satellite C640-1050U, B940 + Intel HD3000@RM1499, 2nd & 3rd year warranty (good for lite job) remaining money can save XD well, i5 give you bonus powerfull proc + with gpu... but you not into gaming, might be waste.. well upto you.. You'll only need i7 if you're into very advanced programs or if you do a lot of insane multitasking hehe~Sony i saw 1 model is rm2499....it almost same spec with L745 but price are diff rm300... and actually i have saw u all recommend alot ASUS laptop here..last time i have heard alot bad experience from other with ASUS product...do ASUS change they product into good status now?? if 2.5k can i get any model with i5 spec?? Normal users don't really need i7 processors, it'll be overkill, and the heat and shorter battery life will not be worth it Haha, I'd recommended a lot of Asus because this time they seem to get their laptop specs and prices right It'll change All brands are more or less the same, it all depends on luck. Most Asus laptops do come with 2 years international warranty though, that's a slight advantage of Asus laptops~ For Asus, can consider Jay chou's N43SL for a budget of ~RM2.5k Added on October 10, 2011, 3:24 pm QUOTE(NickyLumix @ Oct 10 2011, 12:04 PM) Pardon me T.J...which asus laptop should not consider? got problem of the noise at the moment? and can you help to solve my question on top of few floors there? haha Asus N45Sf should be avoided at the moment since Asus haven't really solved the GPU issue yet... Your best bet is to go with those powered by AMD Or the closest would be: Samsung 3 series [NP350U2B-A01MY/A02MY/A03MY], i3-2310M + Intel HD3000@RM1799 Added on October 10, 2011, 6:45 pm QUOTE(NickyLumix @ Oct 10 2011, 04:06 PM) i have been told by fren say apple if need to play pc game have to install window with rm500 fees? is this true??
