Thx for the reply  notworthy.gif

My initial preference was Inspiron 14R but the Asus N55Sf-S2043v seems more tempting  smile.gif

Still, I read that the asus warranty is not that great and dell warranty is the best compared to other laptop.

But dell laptop also seems to have heat problem  hmm.gif

what do you guys think?

The Asus N55sf is 15" in size, so in general the cooling would be better~
Summore the HD+ matte screen would be nice to have~

Dell does offer the best warranty support (in-home) so that'll be a plus for Dell laugh.gif
Still, My vote goes to the Asus laugh.gif

Guys,

I heard that the Asus N55Sf-S2043v is replaced by N55SF-S2187V. But the color wise, is it still only black is available?

well, im told by a salesperson that dell warranty is in-site, meaning they will come to your place to inspect the hardware.

For asus, you would have to bring to their center.

And also, dell offer better warranty coverage like CompleteCover Accidental Damage Protection while Asus only cover the hardware defect

2gb also cant fully utilize.. compare the speed instead of memory ;D
540m > 525m processor speed by 144mhz and 1gb memory
other same.. so its not big different..
even some 512mb gc> 1gb gc if the 512mb clocks better.. correct me if i am wrong

Any laptop also will be outdated laugh.gif
Pretty good buy for that price and considering the screen only 1366x768, should be able to play new titles nicely.
The only problem for now is the stock availability...

Dell provide onsite warranty. Spoil, call Dell, they send technician to your house and try to fix it on the spot.

A RM2-3k laptop cannot play games in 3D unfortunately laugh.gif
Your best pick at the moment would be the HP Dv6 nod.gif

HP Dv6-6001TX, i7-2630QM + AMD HD6770@RM3499 [2.63kg]; Beats headphones *RM3k without Beats
