Hey guys! I need some recommendations and here is my briefly requirements:

Able to play COD3, skyrim, nfs run and most of the newest game highest setting if capable
13inch to 15inch
light weight and thin most probably portable (most important) =)

Budget around rm8000 and below (if really need to top up then it will be fine)

All feedback are utmost welcome! Thanks!

the most powerful 15incher is the sager np8150.. u can put in a gtx580m or hd6990m inside... these 2 r the best mobility gpus in the market right now

go to www.illegear.com to configure the specs and see the price... u cant buy sager laptops in ur local shop in msia, only online.. so the warranty claiming procedure might be a lil bit diff..

the 2nd most powerful 15incher would be the MSI GT680DX...it has a gtx570m.. 2nd most powerful nvidia gpu.. official pricing is rm5299 iinm... u can buy this in malaysia, so ull get local warranty and support.. but im not sure about stock availability right now, go to the msi thread for more info.. pm forummer "SANKO"

something to think about:

a single gtx580m or 6990 may not be able to run intensely detailed games like battlefield 3 and crysis 1 with smooth fps (40-50) when all settings set to ultra with AA - max, AF - max, vsync and all that stuff, @ full HD...

for this u need at least a dual gpu set up.. found only the bigger models.. 17incher or 18incher laptops

however, a single 580m or 6990m will max out most of the games out there right now and achieve smooth fps.. for details on gpu performance: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Game...ds.13849.0.html

cheers

Power and portability don't come hand-in-hand bro laugh.gif
If you opt for portability, you're going to have to sacrifice gaming performance (by a lot, mind you)...
So it all depends on what you want at the end of the day...

Since you have a very good budget, I believe going for a 12-13" subnotebook + 15-17" desktop replacement combination will be a better option icon_rolleyes.gif

Can consider these:
14"

15"

The underlined ones are better in terms of gaming performance.

I'm using GT555m at the moment, its not exactly a very powerful card, especially for that price range laugh.gif
Could be better for the Razor blade considering its a 15" laptop laugh.gif
