downside with Prime is that it doesnt come with 3G. I'd swap my Tab10.1 to the Prime if it does - still considering if i want to get the Prime and carry a mifi...

It beats both the gnex and note in ui smoothness. I was amazed considering my experience with the previous tabs. Now running adw ex launcher is even better than stock ui.

i am ok with it..cos using note with my broadband..purely for internet only..so i can share the internet from my note.. much more convenient to bring around..so size does not really matter me that much..i am more concern abt the user experience...

I imported this image into Photoshop and I got a resolution of 600X450 at 72dpi.

I hope this low resolution is a result of it being downsized when uploaded to lowyat.net...or else the camera sucks...

how abt the speaker? does it louder thn old tab and 7 plus?
so nice..i am thinking to skip gnex since i cant get any stock ready in local here..might consider this and prime..

Added on January 18, 2012, 3:20 pmactually i do worry the noise in darker area as i notice that quite a lot from the pic or even the review from other users.... under bright sun, it will perform well like other.. luckily camera is still not my main consideration to get 7.7..

The shot is downsized from a 2048X1536 resolution ( 1 MB file ) to only a ( 600X450 resolution ) 84kb file !!!
Anyway don't expect too much - it is only a 3 MP camera

Ah, ok...2048X1536 resolution(1 MB file) is a respectable quality for a 3MP camera. My 3MP Fujifilm prosumer camera has about the same resolution and I could use the photos for A3 posters

That is good to hear. Just tried out the Prime which was already updated to ics but still felt a bit of lag.

My expensive hobby -lah. Buying stuffs to test and later resell off to buy newer stuffs. Budget RM 10,000 year on this hobby

BTW I just tested the default video player - plays all mp4, avi, mwv, flac, mkv , H.264 HD movie clips, very smoothly with no stuttering at all

BTW, Uncle Benny, how about the weight of this Tab? is it bear-able for single-hand used? tried to use it as a PHONE dy? can u post a picture of u with the Tab on yr ear?

Negatives - I think it is too big to use as a phone ! So far this 7.7 tab surpass all my experience on Android tablets including the Galaxy Note. Haven't found any negatives yet. Now downloading Sygic maps and will test out the GPS just for academic exercise only. I will never used it as a GPS gadget - just too big

7+ camera quality some review said = 8mp , I assume same can be said to 7.7
