i'm  drool.gif  on this gadget..  biggrin.gif  sighh waiting is painful to me... lately within past 2 years i never wore a gadget more than 3 months..  sweat.gif i wish this will be a true winner that will make my gadget searching end, and fulfill all my needs for at least another 2 years.  blush.gif  lately a bit tired to be a gadget freak, with the works piling up, and life getting to "old man" stage.  biggrin.gif

if you're used to changing your gadgets every 3 months, you may need to cool down slowly. going from 3 months to 2 years per gadget may be tough...hehe

The way technology is moving so fast, I'm sure there will a better/faster/cooler/feature richer device being released periodically.

i too am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the samsung 7.7.

Benny...pls do a comparison on the battery life between 7+ and 7.7
Would like to see how does it fair between a 4000mAh on a non-amoled and a 5100mAh on amoled acreen.

Thanks rclxms.gif

are you saying that the screen size difference is un-noticable? with the better resolution, do the web pages look nicer?

Added on January 18, 2012, 3:01 pmThis is the best android tablet i have used so far. I have used the tab, tab 7+, tab 10.1 and iconia.  There is virtually no lag.  It definitely can match the ipad2 ui smoothness.

OT post
downside with Prime is that it doesnt come with 3G. I'd swap my Tab10.1 to the Prime if it does - still considering if i want to get the Prime and carry a mifi...

wow.. i become tempted after watched the video.. the tab looks sexy.. and there will be a wifi version of tab 7.7? that will be perfect!  rclxm9.gif  provided if it comes with cheaper price.  rolleyes.gif  well, for wifi version SGT 8.9= RM1299; SGT 10.1=RM1499, so SGT7.7? woo don't tell me it will be below RM1299 based on the screen size.. haha.. well, SGT 7.7 have the Super Amoled + screen, and microSD slot. other than that, pretty similar.. well, yeah, design-wised is slimmer and lighter. Any idea what is the pricing for SGT 7.7 wifi version?

AP wifi set on Lelong.com is at RM1549.

benny did you ever carry the 7+ in your trouser pocket? If so, does the 7.7 also fit in the trousers or the extra 10mm makes it too big?

thanks for the response Benny (BTW old is just a state of mind). I love the 7+ coz it fits in my pocket - want to get the 7.7 but am afraid it will be just a little too snug...

ah well..i guess I have to wait until there are some display sets so I can try out.
Come on Samsung - release it already....
