I have the same idea

Having a status symbol is a lot more important than having a superior product for a LOT of people... :-/

They're launching 7.7 and 7+ TOGETHER, so which one are you getting?

If Tab 7+ sells for RM1500 and Tab 7.7 sells for RM2500, would you guys still go for 7.7?

I based my prediction of 7.7 selling for RM2500 on the fact that its basically a bigger GNote, with a larger screen and more powerful battery(5,100mAh vs GNote's 2,500mAh).

I didn't know Singapore switched to using US$...or did America take over S'pore recently?

Yup, I was seriously tempted by the Note, but I still held on for the 7.7 because I'm long sighted so still have to wear glasses to look at the Note, but can see everything on the 7.7 clearly without glasses.

Also gonna use the 7.7 for presentation to clients

7.7 also much better for watching movies while travelling

It'll never end lah...you can wait forever and still not satisfied...

I wanted to get Galaxy S at 1st...then I heard about SII, so I sold my iPhone and wait(this was in Aug last year). Then I wanted 10.1. Then I changed to Note when I found out 10.1 can not make call or SMS. Then they announced 7.7. Then I was thinking of waiting for quat core...now I'm already without a smart phone for 5 months +...

So I've decided I'm getting the 7.7 no matter what else comes along...

I imported this image into Photoshop and I got a resolution of 600X450 at 72dpi.

I hope this low resolution is a result of it being downsized when uploaded to lowyat.net...or else the camera sucks...

Ah, ok...2048X1536 resolution(1 MB file) is a respectable quality for a 3MP camera. My 3MP Fujifilm prosumer camera has about the same resolution and I could use the photos for A3 posters

Getting a 3-mth old(with 9 mth SME warranty left) GS2 today, but will still get the Tab 7.7 even at 2+k, because I'll be using it to do business and can make it back in no time

I beg to differ. My Jabra BT3030 is water resistant, can be paired with TWO devices at once, and comes with music control buttons(volume +/-, pause, play), with auto pause when a call comes in, and auto resume when the call is terminated.
