I am a graphic designer and looking to get tablet and planning to get Galaxy 10.1. I also hope to use sketchbook pro / drawings apps on it. However, I came across a forum mentioning that some user experienced sluggish when drawing / writing. Does anyone here uses those apps and face problems?

hi gang,i have problems with my 10.1..now I'm stuck on one of two things, it either boot loops at the Samsung Galaxy TAB 10.1 screen or goes past that screen and sits at a black screen.

its happen today...suddenly it shut down.than after i try to ON it, the 10.1 on loop on the start screen.(SAMSUNG LOGO)...pls help me...anyone have the same problem with me??? help meee!!!!

try this first tell me if u can go into download/recovery mode.

when your screen is off, press and hold the on/off button till device shuts down.

now power up your device but press and hold the on/off button and volume down button. when samsung words come up let go of power button hold volume down.

you should enter a menu where u can see two symbols, left is recovery and right is download mode.

use the volume button to select recovery.

open it with volume up.


now youre in recovery use the volume up and down button search for something called wipe/data factory reset. that should reset your device to factory fresh and get u out of boot loop

already do that.i cannot go the the recovery mode...it appear andriod logo+downloding..after that its will restart..

i did not uninstall anything (coz the tab are with my wife that time)...ada apa-apa update software ke this week...afraid it the reason why the tab have problem...i ada baca di XDA...after update it become like that.

u sure cannot get into recovery? i kena boot loop before. the device technically cant "off" cuz the moment i off it comes back on and boot loop. so i off and before it can boot loop straight on and enter recovery.

many roms i flash also after flashing will boot loop must wipe data and cache then can use.

try again properly and see im sure can wan

i try dah bro...the method same like enter recovery mode in desire hd right...it cannot load the recovery...ayoooo...need to send back to SAMSUNG!!

press long hold your off button till tablet is off (you will get a small vibrate when it does).

let go, press and hold again on button + volume down.

tablet starts up, let go of the "on" button and CONTINUE TO HOLD the volume down.

i already do that...but its not happen(doesn't shut down n vibrate once)...it restart and stuck on samsung logo..

its the Sketchbook Pro by Autodesk.. one of the best drawing app for tablets. it sells for $4.99

Would suggest a better tablet like asus ep121 and lenovo thinkpad tablet with pressure sensitivity

Edeon tested the free version and there is a 0.25 decond delay. Otherwise seems fine just that the sketch is trailing behind by 0.25secs

Browsing lowyat.net using my tab10.1 and it crashed. On celcom 3g. What seems to be the problem?

My device is rooted. Any info on what to do next? What should i do to make my tab perform faster?

Just now i cant connect to 3g (usually turned it off since on wifi) but when i enable 3g, it cant detect and i need to turn off and turn on my tab and it work now. Any idea why it happen?

haiya..plan to buy this device tomorrow or the next day after that..but now every post that i read here starting to get me unconvinced bout this tab..lag,hang,crash,rings..should i proceed or buy more stable apple ipad2? any sincere advice......?

I take my words back on the sketchbook. The pro version no lag. The trial version is laggy. I bought the pro version and enjoying it. Do not does not have smudge shade feature so its a bit of a pain.

My browser also always crash in stock rom. I read its some permissiins issue. After rooting and flasging Overcome rom no more crashes.

If u want out of box stable. Get ipad. Ig u love to customise your home screen and more general productivity get the tablet.
