overcome rom still with the touchwiz and i love the touchwiz with the custom combo above, qudrant score i got around 30XX, antutu close to 6000 (59XX)

Tab 10.1 doesn't have call function...it will be a plus if later with software upgrade may have call function but it won't be practical to whip out your 10.1 just to make calls...may be for a few weeks you will do just that for show off then you will get bored and start using your handphone which will be more practical to make and answer calls.

yesterday went to try galaxy tab 10.1 but so laggy. why like that?

I suspect it's because Tab10.1 still running on Honeycomb 3.1.

The counterparts, Asus, Acer all running on 3.2 (Asus on 3.2.1), they are really smooth. Must be the GPU accelerated interface.

So, either you get a Tab and hope for the best from Sammy (or they might just give you ICS 4.0 when time due) or go with other alternative and stuck with the hardware (tangible stuff can't be changed, such as thickness and weight).

also display sets never shut down programs. dunno how long d the tab never restart, clearn ram cache, and i bet a lot of apps running in the background too. my experience with display set also not satisfactory i had to try from a friend instead

The android is a true multitasker. For ios mlst apps u close really close tthey just appear in your task bar when u double tap home button. In actuality they are not running. Android different. Things are really running in background unless u close it prproperly or end it with task manager

just bought 1 tab 10.1 today.. hehe.. with capdase case, n matte screen protecter, rm1975.. the price ok or not? huhuhu. but no internet to connect to the tab rite now. this tab can play angry bird n any other games running on android phone rite??

the tab out of the box is kinda bored. no games pun. huhu..

theres a lot of good free games, some HIGH QUALITY ones that instantly comes to mind is Dungeon Defenders. A lot of other games that are good too.

Baronic: Just because you press Home, it doesn't mean an app is running. Supposing a long task is happening e.g. it is searching for all of the MP3s on your SD card. The app developer can choose to pause this task, or do nothing.

A web browser for example, will intentionally continue the download in the background.

If you're playing a game say chess, and it's your turn, and you press Home, sure the app is still loaded, but there is no processing happening, since it does not have to.

Task killers kill your battery because when you kill a task, you are forcing the device to run the process of killing a task. If you clear memory, you are using battery power to overwrite the memory. Some services are meant to be loaded always, so when they come back and initialize for the first time (e.g. expanding database to memory) then that will also consume battery power.

Thus a task killer actually causes you to use CPU and battery by both killing and by Android restarting the task.

Instead I would recommend you just go into the app and log out e.g. Facebook. Even then, Facebook and any well-programmed app will use the same push channel as Google does - a website can send a message to Google's Cloud, then it comes down to your Android through the same channel as Gmail, Google Calendar and whatever else Google will sync! It's not like Facebook is running in the background, checking every 10 minutes with the Facebook server...

Of course, this feature is only available from Android 2.2 onwards, the ability to listen to push messages that ask you to open non-Google apps.

Never bothered to pair my BT headset to iPad's. iPad's BT is dysfunctional to me.

Got it at russia and couldnt be happier, just the right size and weight for me, and a lot easier to hold in one hand than 10.1, though that might be just me and my sweaty palm
