I also have the same problem. Last time bought the U40 pre-paid from UM service center in 1U, everything looks fine but when put in my Tab, it just won't work no matter what method I used. Call UM CSC and confirms my sim is activated. Tried on HTC and can work fine.
Gave up after 3 days and sign up for Maxis BB. So far so good.

short answer is no... issue with tegra2 hardware. nothing software can fix....

refer back to xda thread about diceplayer. tht is ur best bet so far to play 720p video BUT there is a very narrow specification of what type of 720p video u can play....

hmm so far i know umobile got problem with ipad...apple stores seem slow..but browsing, facebook everything is ok with umobile. but right now using digi.

so, SGT 10.1 win over Ipad 2 for storage because we can buy USB kit and use external storage. yesterday went to Celcom Blue Cube at Metro Kajang but service really suck. they not know much about SGT10.1. cannot answer what i ask. Blue Cube Mines still didn't have display set. anyone know where to get SGT 10.1 area Bangi/Kajang. Seng Heng need to order..

Just want to say it is awesome, almost bought Ipad2 but saw the big banner across the shop so decided to check it out. The assistant nicely take out the pad to demo to me.

I dont have to think twice when the tab can support thumb drive and runs powerpoint efficiently. Got it for RM1890 special price according to him.

Anyone know any website that do preview on app for android?

Parkson Parade. Is a telco shop opposite IT world that sells Apple product. Bring cash if u want to buy it. Extra 2% charge if you want to swipe card. Try go on working hours so they you can test use the tab longer and more explanations. There is a good shop that sells screen protector and cover 1 floor above, name pda.

They can do rooting for you if u want.

Midvalley blue cube has one display unit with keyboard... I think mid is not far from kajang rite...
