1. both equally easy use when u familiar with thier OS
2. copy file from lappy to tab or from tab to lappy, i will say galaxy tab done far better and easy compare to ios....u just plug in ur usb and u are able to search any file in ur galaxy tab without additional software need to install  thumbup.gif
3. is ur sim card is micro then u need get normal size sim card only ...
4. external memory yes, u need to buy usb plug to attach with ur galaxy tab in order to use other storage.
*
Additionally you can copy and sync files, also stream media files via wifi..

I bought a usb connection kit.. from my understanding, i need to format my external hd to FAT32 to be use with this kit.. but its strange to see, when i attempted to format my hd from my PC, the only options are NTFS & exFAT. Hmmm.. is exFAT similar to FAT32? Any sofware needed to format it to fat32?

And, i read the kit manual. Written the, the kit support SD/flash and usb memory stick up to 32gb.. 32gb only??

Do you know where you can find USB thumb drives or microSD, min SD cards above 32 GB ??? So far all the latest smartphones and tablets support only up to max 32 GB only

The FAT32 file system is already widely used in many computers, however it doesn’t support partition bigger than 2 TiB and files larger than 4 GiB. Fortunately, a replacement for FAT32, : the exFAT. Microsoft has chosen this file system as the basis for its future products and Mac OS X already supports exFAT in its recent releases. The exFAT can be considered as “the FAT64″, which offers better support on larger storage size.
So, FAT32 is NOT exFAT

Why not ? I did mentioned before that I have connected both my Philip 120gb and WD 500gb , both are 2.5 inch n FAT32 formatted. If yours is 320GB, does it have a port for power input ? You might need to power on the HD while connecting to the tablet
