i watch albnok video, a580 both af cant focus in video

Frankly speaking, I would prefer manual focus during video, IF you're serious into videography. As can see from those specially for video lenses like Zeiss CP2 those lens there is no manual focus because they(1st AC/focus puller) will focus manually according to the scene.

Well I prefer to be able to autofocus in video and manual focus in video.

Autofocus for above-the-head or frogs-eye-view candid videos (as well as when you need to pass your camera to someone), and manual focus for planned videos.

Better than having only manual focus lah. biggrin.gif

Question is, why settle for slow AF when you can have fast AF? There's always the option to MF when you don't need the AF to kick in. Can't stand how Nikon and Canon DSLR CDAF system hunts like a point and shoot during live view. They're pioneers in the photographic community, but only to be overtaken by a company that involves itself much later and at the same time concentrates on so many other genres of electronics as well. Oh well...

You seriously should come TT with us, no point for you to rant about this and that when you have not even tried out the real thing yourself.

i have been noticing u trolling around here since weeks ago. if u got so much doubts and bashes on the new a77, by all means go back to whatever major brands of dslr u like or fancy. just leave this harmonious topic to us, if u have nothing to contribute here. like the old saying goes, u can just leave if u dun like it. no one will stop u. by all means, with all respect. smile.gif
