My sigma 17-70 2.8-4 's OS is no longer working..

whenever i turn OS on, the lens makes noise inside and the image in the view finder goes up down left right every 2-3 sec..

Well you don't need the OS anyway since our camera bodies are equipped with SteadyShot anyway. Turning OS on will in fact screw things up more.

A55 does suffer from flash lag, however. It's not due to the flash too.

You are given a 'Pro' price from a Pro-shop smile.gif

Btw, anyone know the price for "Sony Alpha ECMALST1 Stereo Microphone" ? Checked in eBay, price is like RM 500+... any third party alternative ?

It doesn't matter if SSS is turned on or off. The view in the OVF shows the OS is running wonky since the camera doesn't communicate with the lens telling it that the SSS is on and the OS should be in turned off. Both will run simultaneously.

oh ya, you are right
SSS only affect the sensor so it wouldn't interfere with the OVF
