QUOTE(lwliam @ Sep 15 2011, 09:24 PM) I think the font they used for the '7' isn't that outstanding.. Second that ___________________________________________________ Anyway, friend wanna get a 60D, and thought of waiting till a65 comes out to decide. Mainly, prefers a bigger gripped camera. But how about the technical part of the camera? Are they sort of on par besides the size?

QUOTE(zstan @ Sep 18 2011, 09:00 PM) Just back from camp. Had the chance to try Canon 60D for 3 days. Almost died using the live view. totally cannot use one. And i don't understand why they have to lock the wheel for mode selections. To prevent accidental changes? Quite a hassle. I also can't figure how to change the AF points quickly. I had to press one button, scroll to the AF point mode, and then only select the AF points. Is there any other way? And it's not helping at all when my friend only knows how to use P mode... if im not mistaken there is a button beside AF-ON button at the back of the camera, just press it, then you can select your points. It is much faster to access than a550.

QUOTE(ieR @ Sep 19 2011, 12:53 PM) isnt that button annoying? i find it 'slow' when u wan to change af points.... no wonder all my canon friend Love Recomposition so much, later blame the lens not good if not sharp (50F1.4) then they say me using 50F1.4 with selective af point (just pressing the Dpad) picture turn out too sharp and too accurate... this problem happens to A55 too, sadly, that we require to press the mid button to select af point i hope A65 doesnt has this... since it has more button then A55/33/35... Added on September 19, 2011, 12:55 pm? A550? typo? i tot just press Dpad, u straight select your AF points? i know this issue same as A55/33/35, where u need to press a button to access the point selection menu, AFAIK, the center button of Dpad is much easier and faster to press then the canon button. Oh? I can't seem to find it on my camera.. The only way i know how to, is by accessing the Fn button to the AF points selection menu.. Other than that, nothing faster. please enlighten me (was searching around my camera for that Dpad thing lol)

My sigma 17-70 2.8-4 's OS is no longer working..
whenever i turn OS on, the lens makes noise inside and the image in the view finder goes up down left right every 2-3 sec..

QUOTE(lwliam @ Sep 22 2011, 01:29 PM) Well you don't need the OS anyway since our camera bodies are equipped with SteadyShot anyway. Turning OS on will in fact screw things up more. Yeah cos previously read couple of reviews sigma OS is SLIGHTLY better than sss, so just turned it on. Anyhow kinda thank god i wasn't using Canikon, otherwise no stabiliser

QUOTE(albnok @ Oct 26 2011, 08:32 PM) Zicron: Thanks! Updated the front page. liquiddog: Nice catch in #2! I'd prefer #7 over #6. Also, rather interesting color tone you are putting out... NutZ748: No, because there are two mirrors so nothing is reversed. ieR: LOL! lehtung: Yes it would, since the A77 has a physical remote port. ahpingko: I like #2. #4 is a bit more on time than #1... #1 like just a short moment after the smile. Thanks! Was actually trying something what Adam Ansel do..but not in black and white though #6 #7
