Who says 6400 does not get used, I even use that on my A700 when the time calls for it. Noisy shot better than no shot.
With this, I can comfortably use 12800 without breaking a sweat. Though 16000 is really an emergency-only solution.

Like I said, noisy shot better than no shot

There's always an option to convert to black and white after that.

You'll look back at your words and appreciate what your new camera can do when you need to shoot an indoor/hall event while capturing the ambient light only. Those extra stops can literally stop subject movement. Great machine there bro.

Food for thought: iso1600 1/15s f/2.8 vs iso12800 1/125s f/2.8
Go figure.. smile.gif

lehtung: Officially, only this following combo is claimed to be weathersealed:

Sony SLT-A77
Sony VG-C77AM (control grip)
Sony HVL-F43AM
Sony 16-50mm F2.8 DT SSM

The A850 and A900 were supposedly dust sealed and moisture sealed as well - not sure what has changed. I've put both the A900 and A77 through rain and they came out fine. Of course it is recommended that they air out, and then sit in a dry box after getting wet!

wat u mean by "supposedly"?? rclxub.gif

means new model 850 n 900 no more weather sealed?

It's pointless to do high ISO in well lit rooms la. if you really wanna test then go and take a shot OUTSIDE your house at night (maybe now? Lol) then only you can see how good the sensor performs. Or you can shoot somewhere with heavy shadows.
*gear head mode off*

Oh maiiiii I also wan a65 sad.gif((((
