What issue? All I know now is everybody can get sharp looking pictures from foreground to the background.

What issue? All I know is that it doesn't have FW issues when it was launched worldwide due to it's new Expeed 3 processor.

zstan, in camera distortion correction only applies to "listed lens profile".... and normally it only listed own brand lenses.

wanna ask about Close Up +4 filter. to my knowledge by adding this filter it allows my lens to move closer to the subject, correct? Ibelieve it will also alter the MFD of a lens to allow us to go for a closer focus... Will it cause any distortion or image issues?? is it recommended to use especially on the 35mm or 50mm lenses? the purpose is just mainly to take pics of small objects like charms and toys at a closer range

The kitlens should allow enough close up at 55mm with 5.6 good enough dof. The close up first cut the distance to VERY close. Like shooting a 50 cent coin almost filling the frame.
