i use the battery solo widget which i tink is good. show batt lvl n one tap to it shows the temperature rather than temp widget on its own.

want ask. 480 x 800 wallpaper is a STILL wallpaper, meaning if u scroll thru few homescr, remains the same wallpaper.

how about if i wan to use those wider wallpaper that 'moves' thru the homescr pages, what resolution do i go for?

if anyone wit a good ,dark regular wallpaper, do kindly share too

You successfully updated through kies?

managed to update my SII thru Kies. took 2 hours+ to download the firmware using Digi BB.



here is what I did:

1) Windows 7 Pro 32 bit
2) Disabled Antivirus, Malwarebtye's
3) Turn on Flight Mode.
4) Fully charge S2 to 100%
5) Let Kies detect S2. then restart notebook. and let kies redetect S2.
6) Let Kies perform backup of S2.
7) Download firmware and wait...
8) Flash S2
9) Done
10) S2 reboot.
11) Disconnect cable from notebook

ya..ya better cook food, can eat :-)
if cook roms, unlucky then phone got brick

as long as you can still hold the phone then it's okay lar meaning no problem. Mine can go 54C non-stop for five hours also can survive, no harm done.

just done the latest update thru KIES... nothing much change (still 2.3.3) except with Chinese language support and input as well...

that minor changes only? I expect it should be 2.3.4 haih

for chinese input I been using Google IME all the while

the firmware upgrade progress window is so annoying.. it is always on top n cannot be minimized.. ==.. no matter wat i do.. show desktop .etc oso cant..

If charging through AC - temperature should be in the 40's ; most of the time is just slight below 40
Surfing, even continuously up to 2 hours  - average temperature 35-42 ( higher on 3G, lower on wifi )

I started writing a new sound driver extensions API, as much inspired by ALSA Mixer API as it gets but adapted to Android limitations. And I start using this API in the new #VoodooSound driver for #O2x #G2x. Compatibility is assured by a legacy layer in my app of course. The main interest of this sound driver extensions API is to add the ability to support any kind of audio hardware and driver later. Too bad manufacturers don't use modern ALSA / ASoC everywhere already: sometimes OSS (Moto XOOM), sometimes nothing at all (LG #O2x #G2x)
