Contacts restore automatically whenever you sync. What is on google server but not in your phone will be downloaded. Whatever new contacts on your phone not in google server will be uploaded. You dun need to do anything.

I try sync with my gmail acc, but don't work. Then I try merge with Google. It works.

can go to the digital section in sunway pyramid...there's a shop there...new stock coming in yesterday  ...he offered me 90 maybe becoz ive bought casing and scree protector there... ...by the way...i tried finding a very good screen protector...any suggestion? im not fond of privacy screen protectors...i prefer anti oil and finger print...any specific brand?

just wanna ask why is development slower nowadays?

What is your current build number / firmware version?

cuz nothing new... and i gotta admit, SGS2 development is quite boring...

nothing like while I'm on Desire, always get ports from other device, always new version. and HD2, Nexus One, Nexus S, Evo 4G also never gets boring.

maybe sgs2 still new but so far, its a boring ride for me.

get sgp ultra matte from their website or from lyn. or another one would be the 3m estoc mentioned here few days ago

i am facing the same problem, sometime it even go crazy and enter download mode then remove the yellow triangle and flash counter    (nothing is pluged in to the phone and i never own a jig before  )

then i found out a way to make the port come back normal.

i charge the phone using original wall charger, without switch off the power, I hold the phone with left hand and the screen face up, then use right hand fingers hold the charger head, bend it downward a bit (important) while pull it out. Then viola!! the phone back to normal...

base on my observation, the port is faulty because i use my laptop to charge the phone, maybe due to third party cable as well. The port become cannot recognize what is plugged in , so some time will wake up the car mode,sometime  even go into download mode and clear my flash counter and yellow triangle    by using the method above, i'm able to remind the phone what device is actually plugged in to the port and act normally.

Why you root using KE8 kernel but kernel version KH3 
As what was ask before what is your rom version?

How matte do you want your screen? The SGP ultoptics is the clearest matte SP I know of. But after a week or two of heavy use it gets cloudy as hell from finger oils and becomes impossible to clean.

And the Estoc+ is more glossy then matte actually, though it's not as glossy as the ultra crystal or the Glas. It's easy to clean though, and it's harder to get fingerprints on it then normal glossy SPs.

And then there's Gadgetshieldz or BSE (or Incredible Shield). Not as clear as ultopts or Estoc+, and feels like sticky vinyl (which I hate)., at least it's not very glossy (because of the orange peel effect, which you might hate). And fingerprints don't really stick, plus it's nigh impossible to scratch.

And ALL the SPs I mentioned are MILES better then RM15 SPs, I can assure you. No idea about MartinFields tho.

yeah i came from htc hd2 and saw this device and was so excited bout its capabilities (hardware wise) and saw great future but suddenly it disappoints me..even dual core script is not out yet. waiting for checkrom..
worried it will just be like my touch 3g couldnt even last a year

using a rm15 matte, makes my screen looks sooo not HD LOL

yeah if you came from an enjoyful device development, you'll feel the same way as me. but i think sgs2 will have more to come, which i believe it is pretty new so far.

using a Rm18 matte. i think it still looks vivid. what brand ar i forgot... nillkin i think??

yeah lets just hope that. because i was torn in between sensation n sgs2 haha and finally got this but looking at sensation dev really omg. so fast! and to think sgs2 was unlocked and cm7 team were given few! haha that last 2 made me buy sgs2 but hopefully like u said, there will be more to come. just reached US today right?
