Step by Step GuidePower on Samsung Galaxy S2.
Connect USB cable to your phone.
Download the correct CF-Root CF Root here.
At PC, use 7-Zip to extract zImage (zip – tar – zImage) then copy it to sdcard.
Download the correct stock kernel Stock Kernelhere.
Extract stock kernel .tar file that you downloaded to Kernel folder.
Remove USB cable from your phone.
Then power off your phone.
Press and hold down Volume Down + Home + Power buttons at the same time.
Press Volume Up button when warning prompt.
Odin download mode will be loaded.
Connect USB cable to your phone.
Bring up Odin3.
Click on PDA.
Select the .tar at Kernel folder.
Click Start then.
Remove USB cable from your phone when you see green PASS! at Odin3.
After Android loaded, bring up CWM Manager.
Select Flash kernel ~ Flash a kernel.
Select zImage then click Flash.
That’s all.
In short, you need to have stock kernel of the firmware that you are using. Flash it with Odin after you rooted SGS2. The stock kernel will remove the yellow triangle. Then re-flash kernel from CF-Root using CWM Manager. This will bring back ClockworkMod Recovery.
Note – You need a CF-Root that matches your Samsung Galaxy S2 kernel version. And stock kernel that matches your firmware.
