i reli duno wat's going on wif ur SGSII. if reli so short battery life wat's the pain using litening rom, or probably more simple question: y use so canggih phone?

even i on 3g n sync all the time my battery can last me from morning 9am till evening 8pm with 40++% left. on top of that i still got gaming n listening to music+ watch light novel wif 50% brightness on. always c u complaining bout the battery life sucks, n nvr c u do any corrective action on it. wat's the pain?

I'd suggest he gets a spare battery if he still wants to keep the phone. With 3G on ( mine is 24/7 on) , my phone can last me a working day 7 am to 5 pm. My heavy use only during lunch time where I browse at least 30-40 minutes - this period the battery will dip significantly. The rest of the time, it is acceptable to me. My phone is actively refreshing /updating : 3 email accounts every 30 mis, RSS and Tweeter updates every hour, some news sites every 1-2 hours, weather every 4 hours, 5-10 calls, few SMS, no MMS, no gaming. Overnite 12 pm till 7 am with all these background activities, every hour will drop 1.5-2 %
I am on Cognition 1.5.1 rom. Frankly I dont find Litening has better battery saving compared to many others

mine 1h 6m, now 67% with 3g on from 12pm to 9pm ...not bad...took like 10 pictures,facebook and downloaded an app.Kinda impressed me i am on batista 3.7.2 .

I don't use the original charger at all; still inside box. As similar to the car, I used a desk charger ( with USB port) with 2A output. It was previously bought to charge my ipad.

I took more than 10 close up pictures..update few apps in Market..Whatsapp a few..Talkbox a while..Wifi file transfer..Wifi on..3G off..

Tested Asphalt 6.....30 mins, wifi on, medium brightness= 19% drop in battery.

Is it me or are the framerates kinda low?
GT Racing: Motor Academy has much better framerates, but in a normal race, 1 minute= 1% battery

Is up to you, your choice. What I can tell you , it is is safe. Unless I am so lucky I never kena problems till now , have been practicing such on ALL my phones even on the older Window Mobiles
And if you still have doubts, forget about it - follow the default standards ; just use the stock chargers

Isn't good grab S2 or waiting 3D launch at Q4 2011?

I have tested using Yooboa Long March battery pack 2A output port to charge my unit, from around 35% to 100% take around 2.5 hours. It can full charge S2 up to 5 times max.

I also keep original charger in box. I'm using TAB third party charger with 5V 2.1A output to charge the S2. No problem.

What the different between 2? jz the 3D camera or any other upgrade form its predecessor that worth considering to wait.

yes sad to say the fix so far is by changing to android 2.3.4, as far as i know this is due to asphalt 6 not fully utilizing the GPU or our GPU is incompatible with asphalt 6 so cant 'step up' the GPU, GPU has 2 states, 180mhz and 267mhz overclockable to 400mhz

Anybody know about using proxy on our sgs2?

the proxy in settings is for your web browser only, and it doesnt affect the apps, so far there is not a single app that could acomplish this, tried alot times bcoz my university uses proxy for wifi

How long max hour the display can last for S2.
Galaxy ace max can go up to 3.5 hour till battery warning appear.

I've done 5 hours 45 minutes browsing non-stop (screen on) from 98% battery until 5%. That's mean screen on can hold around 6 hours before battery kaput :-P

Bro , sorry if i sounded harsh on you but can u stop being a stubborn noob/moron ? Forumers have been teling u its a different thing yet u still wanna compare this 2 units . U might not have the knowledge about it yet after numerous comments/advices/sarcastic remark from other ppl , u refuses to accept yet keep a comparision with Ace . If u cant accept the fact , y bother asking ? Its 2 totally different level of hp you are comparing ...... 1 mid level android vs 1 high level android ...... dual core vs single core ....... SuperAmoledPlus vs TFT Capacitive Screen

If you are so concern about batt life , buy a basic phone .... easily can last u no least than 2 days or if u are happy with your Ace , stick with it

I never test it..but you should compare Galaxy S2 with same level of phone such as Sensation..Evo 3D maybe? But the Ace totally out of range..If Galaxy S2 battery life is better than Ace, then Ace can consider a lousy phone with low spec and low battery life..no one will get it
