Ai Yah, cannot wait till later today. Has suvccessfully install Clockworkmod recovery and rooted phone
Guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1324225 The link does not explain some basics which the developer assumes the user will know Here is the quick guide: Download Odin 1.85 Switch off phone Go to download mode : Home+Power+Vol Down simultaneously Press Vol Up to select Connect phone to PC Launch Odin, you will see phone detected showing a Yellow COMM box eg Com 11 Select the tar file as PDA - do not select anything else - press Start - takes only a min plus and phone will reboot To install root: Copy the downloaded root zip into internal SD card Switch off phone Go to Recovery mode: Power+Home+Vol Up Select update zip file Scroll down to the superzip file - select Phone will reboot and now phone is rooted with CWM installed |
