Anybody know what soundchip this phone use.?
Still Yamaha like SGSII or Wolfson like SGS.??

So what soundchip will Galaxy Note use?

Truth is Yamaha is better than Wolfson. Unfortunately Samsung choke the audio output with resistor. There is no way (for the time being) on how to tweak and release the output since it connect with the phone clock and a few other things. Supercurio/vodoo and pspilot is working to fix it. Until that happen, i better hold the purchase :-)

If you buying RM2K - RM2.5K phone then of course you want it come with a good sound quality. Or at least it can be mod or tweak to make it better. Beside i still have my two years old 5800 in active duty.

First gen Galaxy.? I have both SGS and SGSII. Both phone is excellent and no problem whatsoever..well maybe audio quality not very good for SGSII as it can't be tweak but other than that it's the best in its own class

Be patience. By the time of Chinese New Year it will come to Malaysia :-)

I don't think so. Galaxy note and galaxy LTE will come with Gingerbread though both can be upgrade later. Galaxy S3 will come with ICS out from the box :-)

That's why i said Note and LTE will be on Gingerbread. Samsung marketing strategy will not let Note and LTE compete with Prime as all the phone is from Samsung. Prime will be the first using ICS followed by S3. Only after that (don't know how many months) official upgrade firmware be release to other Samsung phone.

SGSII LTE will come out first followed by Note and Nexus Prime for this year. Next..hot on heel is next year 2012 high-end/flagship Samsung and that is SGS3. Better make your choice carefully :-)

Just consider the Note will be available in M'sia by December this year. Anything sooner will be a bonus for us :-)
Galaxy Note is a 'must buy' item for me. Then had to wait and see what spec SGS3 have. If it comes with quad cores + HD + ICS then i'm going to trade my SGSII for SGS3.

If you intend buying Galaxy Note..then pair it with Tab 10.1 is most logical as Note can do nearly all what Tab 7.7 can

Don't think so. So far none of Samsung phone have this features and it's save to assume Galaxy Note won't be the first one to have it :-)

You still can put Note at your ear when receiving calls but don't try to do the same with Tab. People will think you're crazy. Better use headset :-)
