haha, same here. But i drive only 6 years plus. Having a saga fl n viva.

Saga really useless except the price.

Myvi is another option i consider, 48k, abs, air bag, ebd.
*
haha, y say saga useless, spacious comfort also.

but heard fuel consumption is bad. blush.gif

i have a viva auto also, good pick up, very fuel economic 6.6L/100KM average town driving with heavy jam.

but the only think is no safety.

the car can only drive STRAIGHT.

dont even think to layan corner/ raining day only can drive STRAIGHT sweat.gif

corner little also i scare already.

my saga fl streering is so heavy, break is so hard, fuel consuption scare me to britshiit. But its cheap 44 k air bag, no abs or so. So i gave to my parent to use.

For viva, cornering for me is good, straight line better keep it slow. Very noisy. Mine no air bag, so safety is concern. So i want to upgrade to auto + air bag.

But upgrade from viva to myvi seems a bit silly. Haha, that is what ppl told me. Cheapest in market still myvi, saga. For me i think myvi is easier and less effort to drive. Driving a saga really tiring, super heavy. Myvi with no boots so safety aso concern for rear passenger as its too short to receive accident impact from rear. Damn hard to decide.

you upgrade 17" ENKEI RIMS ? brows.gif laugh.gif

how much your saga flx fuel consumption? ( auto or manual )

but upgrade from viva to myvi is quite silly also la if you ask me.

if you get a new myvi 1.5, then different story la

better go for alza straight. ( like that only can see/feel the different )

when drive viva, 10 tonne lorry tailgate me, really feel no safety.

alza maybe better feel? hmm.gif

saga fl 1.3 fc = 10KM / liter , combine

my viva use wira aeroback stock rims. Haha

myvi 1.3 se = 48K monthly 505 , 9 years
myvi 1.5 se = 56 k monhtly 585
alza auto premium =64 k monthly 667

im comparing variant that has air bag, abs ebd n ba cos i aim for safety.

Alza is better for rear impact logically, but i have seen some accident pic where alza shrink to half for rear impact. So far don see myvi has that kind of impact.

Tear n wear cant avoid, but question is after 10 years, spare part still in production or not ?

Seriously, alza can fit 5 person comfortable, not 7. The last row, no adult can fit, only kids can. But if u are driving long journey, do u wan a kid to sit last row ? Where its only protected by few inch of car body ? Imagine, some from behind bang u. So i dont see the point having last row seats, except luggage.

Almera cannot fit 5 person comfortable. But the ride for 4 is very comfortable.
*
True indeed Alza can fit nicely with 5 instead of 7,however it is perfectly a good combination's of let one children sit at front, and center. Not a much problem here as with safety. So I do not think this is a treat to Alza, however I only agree with you with what you are saying imagine someone from behind will bang you. Alza do not have more space to protect if comparing with Almera. One think is good for Alza is you can use Toyota parts ( Avanza). That is mean your car can use Toyota engine, therefore Perodua car have better second hand value.
This is their plus point!

Nissan spare part's are usually better in quality as the price also is higher to maintain. I do remember my Foreman told me that comparing with the Brek pad it cost about Rm 3XX as normally will cost Rm2xx.
However the quality of parts is better !! If can afford Almera is a good choice! Car is spacious with able to put many things.
Last thing is car FC is good.
I personally will like it but for Family it is a good choice to get Alza ( MPV ) or Nissan Grand Livina (MPV) or Nissa Serena (MPV).

for me MPV or not doesnt matter, because budget is limited, thinking of Alza like worthy, so dilemma now lor.

i do believe alza and almera also 3years waranty right?

i do realized ALZA S NO ABS+EBD shakehead.gif

that's what making me turn off. vmad.gif

but i drive 23years old car also no abs+ebd, no problems also. brows.gif  cornering / heavy rain also no problems. brows.gif

by the way, how you mean by PERODUA CAR very bad in wet condition?

is it cornering not stable due to car higher than sedan?
*
Almera and Alza does have a good name for local people. Nissan is cheaper and good in FC as Perodua Alza FC also good, as both will under power if with full load of people's and beg's.

Perodua car always with a problem on rainy day, as the brek is not good so have to careful when driving in wet weather.

However, Perodua have more second hand value as many many parts easy to find it is same as Toyota and Daihatsu. The engine is good as the body parts side need to upgrade the quality side especially the Rubber of the Windscreen and Side Windows.

I have used Perodua Car for more then 15 years, with out ABS and EBD also. As I can remember last time when buying car where have ABS + EBD??? Where have Air Bags?
One thing is buy a car that is suits your budget.... I suggest you can get a Viva or MyVi. It is more affordable !

Not forgetting The Star will tone down everything in their report so that minimal impact on Perodua or everything still looks rossy.

I do believed that this is call cooperate game, I do think that every car will have their advantages and disadvantages. Perodua really have to upgrade their services at Service Center and their quality control or else it will be another Proton!

i test drive alza n myvi 1.5 today.

Alza more bumby, driving experiences is so so compare to myvi.

When driving pass uneven road, Alza dashboard keep jerking like my 6 years viva. When myvi handle it well. Passenger behind aso feel myvi is less bumpy.

Also, under hot afternoon, myvi air con is more cooling than Alza. Passenger behind complain hardly feel any cold air.

I know i shldnt compare alza n myvi but these two are my choice right now.

My viva was quote by trader for 15.5 k , but my bank loan full settlement is 17.5 k. Means i need to pay 2 k to sell the car. So funny but i know its true.
