Best advice so far is to send it in SC let them check... It's hard to tell what's the problem is since I never experienced it before... But I'll let other owners here chime in if they had similar encounters like yours...

Anyhow, I've been posting on this thread many times advising ppl against buying this car...
*
thanks and i was so mad when they told me go back to sc during my first one thousand km service.

Buying car depend on your luck. Getting Honda or VW doesn't mean that you get problem free car. It'll you drive you crazier smile.gif
*
well...yes it is true indeed, it is my rotten luck on getting a brand new car that with my front engine low arm side that i can heard a hard kok kok kok sound, front of my driver side. Guess what happened? I went to my usual Foreman that whom is expert on Perodua car, he straight can know what is happening to my car? It is something loosen that the QC side that do not tighten.
Is this call Depend on my luck?
I think this is not i agree 100% as I urge Perodua have really Serious with your QC, However the SC Quality service i still do not know yet. Wait till after my 1st 1000Km service then i will update my feelings how is my opinion on Perodua.

Don't expect any manufacturers to do 100% QC on all products that come out of their factories (except maybe Roll Royce). My bro in law used to work as service engineer in one of local japanese car. He told me even CKD japanese cars got problems. Each model have their own problems. Just hope that SC manage to rectify the problems permanently. I had my share of problematic local car before, so I don't expect too much from them.
*
Well it is totally different is you comparing with Roll Royce as it is Hand made. I know usually those Imported car quality on the metal, plastics, and even the engine is better then local car. Those CBU car surely is better quality in wise as you can see the structure of the car, outlooks, and the quality of the metal that comparing with older cars in 60s,70s,80s and 90's. The QC is better as comparing with JAPANESE QC and MALAYSIAN LOCAL QC.

I can remember my first Volvo car and my Second Volvo car that i had, both of them are totally diff in quality, as the QC is still there. The safety and trust on the brand is there. I still trust Volvo does have the Philosophy on their Brand is call Safety.

Like Proton the first Proton during 80's, 90's is really good. The QC is really there as my first Proton Saga during early 90s is really great, if comparing with latest Proton Saga FLX you can see the diff of the Body made, the engine off course the body is lighter and more powerful. But the QC is bad, they just mix and match the engine and new design then make a car out!!!!

Yes off course Perodua also same as Proton using people old technology and self branded in Malaysia. As QC part I was told that Proton Parts are really lousy, bad quality and worst still each yr of a car diff company manufacturing the parts. Therefore you can see there is no second hand value as when the SC quality service plus the car problems that do not really take initiative to improve it.

I do agree with you here, each car have their problems and as what i have one thing to say, is sometime it is the Human behavior Dun care attitude and Lazy of a Person or company that made us mad as do not expect too much from them.

Thanks for your time and i wish i can learn form you as i maybe wrong here as i am not in this trade.
SC quality and commitment on problem solving must be there so will make customer happy.
SO far I have no comment yet on the SC that I am sending my car there. Only thing's i want to say is the Quality control is not as up standard if comparing with Japanese.
Thanks and Good Night

Hi bro can describe more of yr kuk kuk sound n how you solve it?
*
already solved by my friend wait the SC people to solve ? Dun hope too much their car QC is really Bad as that is why have 3 Yrs warranty.

Anyway not all of the SC are bad. Some are good like for Johor Bahru side Taman Tan Sri Yaacob and Tmn Johor Jaya side are not bad.

So far I have not yet finish solving my problem but their attitude is good smiling face ! Free service for 3 yrs.

However i feel the QC is really bad dare to give out to customer even when the car hve problem.

I admit I am the 'luckiest' guy in the world because my brand new alza petrol tank leaking....

Bro, please don't always say LUCK...If you are car manufacturer, and you sell your car and hope your customers have great LUCK by not getting a bad car from you?

I agree that Honda and VW has problem car too but the level of QC definitely much more higher than Perodua...

So, your statement should change to "Buying car depend on the brand (reputable) and quality of the manufacturer"...

Lazy to read all that... like I always say, the price is too high. Stop the local car production factories we are going no where.

Finally, got the fuel leak repaired and door sensors too. All claim warranty but took me many hours for the wait. Lots of myvi being recalled for the steering wheel problem. Super long queue.
*
huh even Myvi have problem also....???? doh.gif
Tell me more on yr experienced? Do you have the same experienced as me as when i 1st day got my car already have problem on it.
I think i will also check my fuel tank is leaking or not?

First i heard by other forum saying power steering pump problem on Alza.

but for 9years repayment

Alza S auto- RM600 monthly

Almera standard auto - RM700 monthly

so not really much different after divide by the 9 x 12 installment brows.gif

so very confusing which 1 to buy rclxub.gif

Nissan Almera is not MPV and Alza is MPV
If you are Family orientated then get Alza.

Nissan and Perodua car are actually same as partially assembly in Malaysia. To be fair Both car quality is same since it is Malaysian partially made.

I do like Alza because it is with 3 yrs warranty. Really no need pay money when sending your car for service smile.gif

Only feel bad with the quality of the QC Pretty Bad. I feel mad.gif since first day.....! Anyway please consider Alza EZi and do not take ALZA S as it is better with ABS & EBD !

You know Perodua car can be very bad in wet condition as if you are ex perodua car owner! If affordable take the EZi model and do not take Premium also.

Since you take 9x12 take the Ezi Model.

if i buy Alza, the last row is meant to bend down for more storage space.

but cant seems to find any active seller sell the trunk cover like those in CRV.

so kinda high chances ppl break glass and steal your laptop bag etc.

any feedback on alza 1.5auto climbing genting uphill?

hows the performance?
*
i suggest you can tinded the back side of the car..... ^^
hmmm....i am also keen to know how about this question on feedback on alza 1.5 climbing on Genting.

almera has the storage space aso right. Except u wan to carry anything taller like chair or table.

One of my fren jus upgraded from wira to nissan shyply. He said sitting nissan just like an upgrade of status.
I know that kind of perspectives shldnt exist in anyone, no big deal driving an expensive car, human are equal in anyways, but sadly, this is how the society behave

but bcos of budget constraint, this is how we life. .
*
comparing with Nissan Shyply and Almera actually is wrong as it is not an MPV.
Should be comparing with Nissan Grand Livina.

Tear n wear cant avoid, but question is after 10 years, spare part still in production or not ?

Seriously, alza can fit 5 person comfortable, not 7. The last row, no adult can fit, only kids can. But if u are driving long journey, do u wan a kid to sit last row ? Where its only protected by few inch of car body ? Imagine, some from behind bang u. So i dont see the point having last row seats, except luggage.

Almera cannot fit 5 person comfortable. But the ride for 4 is very comfortable.
*
True indeed Alza can fit nicely with 5 instead of 7,however it is perfectly a good combination's of let one children sit at front, and center. Not a much problem here as with safety. So I do not think this is a treat to Alza, however I only agree with you with what you are saying imagine someone from behind will bang you. Alza do not have more space to protect if comparing with Almera. One think is good for Alza is you can use Toyota parts ( Avanza). That is mean your car can use Toyota engine, therefore Perodua car have better second hand value.
This is their plus point!

Nissan spare part's are usually better in quality as the price also is higher to maintain. I do remember my Foreman told me that comparing with the Brek pad it cost about Rm 3XX as normally will cost Rm2xx.
However the quality of parts is better !! If can afford Almera is a good choice! Car is spacious with able to put many things.
Last thing is car FC is good.
I personally will like it but for Family it is a good choice to get Alza ( MPV ) or Nissan Grand Livina (MPV) or Nissa Serena (MPV).
