"high setting in 1366x768 and lags in 1600x900" really got different de ar...for 14 inch and 15.6 inch screen.. so the smaller screen the better right... icon_question.gif

Not the smaller screen the better,
the smaller the resolution, the better game performance for the same GPU.
15.6'' Asus N55Sf comes at 1366x768 and 1600x900 tongue.gif
14'' N45SF comes at 1366x768,,

Just a small question, not sure what I did but my media keys on the side isn't working anymore Hmmm. Is it because I uninstalled the MusicNow?

Guys, looks like I have some serious virus in my external HDD.

I've scanned and cleared most of it months ago (with both AVG 2011 and Kaspersky 2012)

And the viruses still exist. What is the best method to delete them?

Before installing some errors occur which I do not know what are they exactly
I tried Ubuntu 11.10 and Kubuntu 11.10 of course with WUBI.

Yes I already saw that but with WUBI you do not see that screen to push F6 and I think if you turn off acpi your laptop will work just with intel VGA.

Got N55SF (2670QM/8G/750G/FHD).

Just got freak glitch:
Touchpad is not working properly. Left click and tapping do not work, external mouse works fine though.
Have tried everything (except full reinstall).

The Synaptics device settings look fine (tried them all and now back to 'default settings', touchpad can sense the left button and tapping (pressure graph etc. so the device itself seems not to be broken), but it just does not work for programs. However, if I do configure the touchpad to be 'left handed', then tapping works fine as does the 'left click' (which is actually right click for the left handed configuration).

Must be some windows/asus bloatware glitch, but how to fix it?!

Any help and hints are appreciated!

P.S. Has anyone managed to install TurboGear or other ASUS 'overclocking' utilities? It did not work right out of the box for me, some .dll missing and I'm a bit sceptical if turbogear works at all for i7 models.

Could use more mhz for both GT555M and especially the CPU.

And has anyone any idea would 8G memory chips work in this laptop for total 16G? Cost still like hell, but hoping they come down in the near future.
