anyone feeling in SB intel's SPEEDSTEP is too aggressive ?? as in .. response slow??? how to say ar.. erm...


if ur proc is at 798mhz... ur doing ntg.. just play song.... browsing.... then suddenly u open something extreme big.. like opening Matlab.. or wateva..... song will stutter a bit.... as if the cpu response is nt fast enuf to rev up to 2.6ghz... hmmm .. any thoughts??

^If you force the CPU to 2.3GHz all the time and you repeat that situation, got stutter ?

nope no stuter... XD... only when no forcing.. it seems so...

Hi, today the 6th day of my new laptop and i went to get blank DVDR to burn the recovery. But when i run it say "Recovery Partition does not exist". How ar????

looks like u focked up when u uninstall the bloatwares like i did.theres no way u can undo it.
The good news is the recovery partition is still there and if u really want to burn the recovery DVD WITH the bloatwares u can boot up the recovery partition using Hirens Boot CD.

I was actually in the process of burning recovery into DVD without battery attached. Then what happened was my house electric tripped and so my laptop got turn off. I restarted and thinking to redo again but not allowed anymore and show me Recovery Partition does not exist.

Please don't update your graphics driver to the 285.27! It won't work well with your HDMI. I am now reinstalling the 280.26 now

u're so unlucky man.... next time remember plug in ur batt plus power cord so u still can continue even ur house no elec when burning it halfway..
