You are using the LB Myvi?

QUOTE(rest @ Oct 3 2011, 12:17 AM)
No, according to my friend he said esso can go more km,his car used to be 200km for RM50,but with esso can go 250km.So I tried, and my leg press softer than before, still getting lesser,i think I just stick back to petronas.haha

besides, with drop in filter,I dont seems to feel any power extra. hmm.gif
*
Well for me, ESSO still can go the furthest.

Tried 3 Petrols (Petronas, ESSO , Shell)
ESSO > PETRONAS > SHELL

I'm no ICE expert but from my understanding that day, Type S has a bigger capacitor and if I'm not wrong, it also has a slightly bigger/heavier magnet. Anyway, since Type S isn't a lot more expensive than Type J, can actually consider it since we are not going to change speakers like changing clothes (unless you're super rich). biggrin.gif

Any 1 here with the 1.5 myvi?
Any problem thus far? Considering to get 1 for my wife to ferry my daughter to skol

I have test driven it...yea it does feel a little more powerful but except for that everything
look and sound like typical old myvi...interior sound the same, engine sound the same, going over harsh road sound the same...

The extreme version are priced so high...at 61k now suzuki swift come out with a base model selling 65k...which will u choose?

Would go for the Swift IF
1. They decided to fit in back the 2 rear passangers head rest,
2. Put back the damn cover for the boot space
3. Put back the damn rear wiper!

Those missing 3 components really a turn-off for any Swift basic model buyer.

I also prefer 1.5. You'll noticed the difference when the car is loaded and going up-hill (think Karak highway) !
If the engine can power the Avanza, Myvi sap sap water lah....
Guarantee can overtake City/Vios/Swift.
But price is almost RM10k difference. Not worth it lah.
If they got Myvi Auto Standard with 1.5 engine.....sure will get it...

You sure the sound like the typical old myvi? For me, I personally do feel the new Myvi is more solid. The sound insulation is much better. You can also compare the door closing part. The new Myvi, when u slam the door and close it, you will feel it's solid while the Old Myvi, It's like...don't know how to describe it but it's not solid. While the Saga BLM (oldest version). Sound like a old metal. No offense to anyone, it's just my personal feeling smile.gif I might be wrong

Haha I'm planning to do it on my Premium 1.3 LB. I did install Elegance Bodykit already. Now since the new Myvi SE 1.5 released. Feeling like changing to its rear bumper. Wondering how it would look like LOL

How much discount you can get when buying new Myvi ?

While some of you buy the new Myvi at the list price, I'm sure many of you are smart enough to ask for discount from the Salesman....

How much discount do you think you can get ?
RM200 ? RM500 ? RM1000 ?

Interesting question isn't it tongue.gif

Coz my wife's fren older myvi se 7 months only cabin already got so many rattling sound....going over uneven roads
like kilik kolok...u know wat i mean

so we both went and test drive myvi...1st impression the acceleration is not bad...due to 200cc xtra so it does generate more torque...give it some rev...ahhh...the same revving sound from myvi engine...struggling feel
Cornering and quick lane switch...ok this nonit to comment, body roll are abundant.
Another problem is of coz the gearbox...sumtimes u have to pedal really hard down there only it will downshift and make the move...

Its the same engine in avanza and toyota rush and i have very bad experience with the rush...the gears upshift and downshift like nobody business...underpower i think...

Seriously if Myvi were with 1NZ-FE that would be so great

Swift on the other hand the engine performance are more or less the same...just the handling part is where the suzie really shine...its very agile..

I don't think you can get any discount for new cars lol. Normally you need to wait during festive season where the company gives promotion tongue.gif
