So no one actually can confirm whether MyVi 1.5 SE Auto only comes with multimedia unit only?

As I believe the additional 2k for the multimedia unit is totally a rip off!

Still no idea yet as there's no announcement from Perodua. Base on the price list. The "Multimedia" tag has been removed, 54k Price is gone and only left the 56k one
*
That what I saw today.
SA called me yesterday confirming the price of normal HU 1.5 SE as 54.4k.
But today saw the 54.4k has been removed.

And I saw got promotion of rebate rm2k if I'm not mistaken for registering new p2 car until end of this month. Wondering if MyVi 1.5 is included?

RM2000 promotion? You mean the Double Fest thingy? That's just a Raya promotion. If you read nice it's "Register your Perodua Car and to enjoy DUIT RAYA UP TO RM2400" this means you would have a chance getting less or even RM1. I doubt RM2400 could be easily gotten. Maybe 1 out of 10k cars registered?
Yeap I could hear that sound too
*
Yeah, the Double Fest. OMG! Thats mean its a random Duit Raya thinggy?
I thought it supposed to serve something similar like Proton Raya Rebate?
No?

QUOTE(firefly3x @ Sep 28 2011, 09:30 AM)
So RM56,500, up from RM54,400. Sigh. Looks like i am not getting it anymore. Perodua should have stick to RM54,400 though.

+1

Going to call the Perodua SA to double confirm again.

Called Perodua SA.

SA confirmed that the normal HU 1.5 SE Auto RM54.4K still available.
He said P2 trying to push/clear out all the Multimedia unit, therefore those who purchased the Multimedia unit could get their car as fast as next month.
He explained that if those purchased the normal HU, might or might not get their car next month(High chances of nor getting). Could be only getting their car next year.

What I see from the above conversation:
1. P2 is pushing the potential customer away buy "forcing" potential customer to purchase Multimedia unit which I think is a wrong way to do it.
2. People who going to trade in their current ride in order to purchase the normal HU unit is so going to butthurt especially those only have 1 car. Lower resale value next year.
3. If by all mean getting the normal HU next year, that means its a 2012 car. Higher resale value compare to 2011 car which is the only positive side I see.

Any 1 here with the 1.5 myvi?
Any problem thus far? Considering to get 1 for my wife to ferry my daughter to skol

I have test driven it...yea it does feel a little more powerful but except for that everything
look and sound like typical old myvi...interior sound the same, engine sound the same, going over harsh road sound the same...

The extreme version are priced so high...at 61k now suzuki swift come out with a base model selling 65k...which will u choose?
*
Would go for the Swift IF
1. They decided to fit in back the 2 rear passangers head rest,
2. Put back the damn cover for the boot space
3. Put back the damn rear wiper!

Those missing 3 components really a turn-off for any Swift basic model buyer.

Hahaha.
From my understanding la.

Skirting = lower bumper + acc that they fixed below the door to make the car lower.
Bumper = front and back bumper?
Bodykit = Skirting + bumper + spoiler?

Hahaha. Not sure correct or not. But whenever I go to acc shop when I mentioned those 3 words, those salesman seems to understand.

Arguement is like
Engine Oil vs Black Oil. laugh.gif

Just wondering if someone wailing to swap his or her LB/LB LP non multimedia HU unit with my friend LB LP GPS Touch Screen HU? Getting his car this Friday.

TnC:
1. The non multimedia owner will bear the cost of swapping both HU in term of workmanship. If the non multimedia owner knew how to do it, then no cost will involve.
2. Swapping only can be done around Puchong/Sunway and near by area.
3. Non multimedia just top up abit. Maybe around RM300-RM500. *not sure bout this yet.

By the way, just curious. Will the car warranty void if my friend did the swapping? If yes, what kind of warranty will void? His SA couldn't answer his question.

Thanks in advance. Interested? Just PM me.

hi guys want to ask, if we service our car at 1000km, 5000km, 10000km, means that the interval is only 4000km, 5000km, and 10000km..and so on..am i right to say that?

and not 1st service: 1000km, 2nd service:: 1000+5000=6000km, 3rd service: 6000+10000= 16000km..?
*
Yes, you are right.
Either interval or duration of the car(in terms of months) come first.
Please refer to user manual.
IINM, normally is either 1000KM or 3 months after you get the car. and so on

I think need to follow the how far you go,km.
Cos last time I service my car in therms of months, the person said I came too early, then he said next time see the (KM) dont follow the months.
*
Certain parts will spoilt after some time while others according to mileage.
Therefore, service booklet always is either KM or months.

But logically thinking, parts in a stationary car won't spoilt right? laugh.gif But car battery/wiring might "kaput"
