Depends on your preference, if you does not mind the thick bezel then 3x U2312HM, otherwise U3011.
U3011 is H-IPS while U2312HM is e-IPS, both technology is greatly different if you focus on colour accuracy, which is why the high price (U3011).
And FYI, U3011 uses CCFL, if you're one that only take LED backlit then only U2312HM or the slightly higher resolution U2412M.

Hope this helps. wink.gif

Wildwestgoh,

U3011 is on H-IPS as u said....i believe, U2410 also using same technology
if i was to compare with Samsung LEDTV 32in which resolution @ 768..
which is more superior cos i just bought 2x U2410 and just waiting to arrive to my house only rclxm9.gif

no you can't. if the display rated as 16:9 so you can only adjust a resolution based on 16:9 ratio.

Those looking for 27" 2560 X 1440 QHD display can try out these:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/YAMAKASI-CATLEAP-Q...=item4ab92dcdd9

or

http://www.ebay.com/itm/QH270-Lite-Achieva...=item4ab7b10186

or if U want pivot

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-CROSSOVER-27-2...=item33734125e7

Very popular now at overclock.net and http://hardforum.com/

It is an A- panel from LG that had similar spec at Apple Cinema Display or iMac 27"

Do be warned that it might have stuck pixels or dead pixel.. Take your own risk.

Hi, Sifu,

I am thinking of buying a monitor around RM 400.

Besides the difference in screen size, which one is better (in terms of screen quality) 21.5" ST2220L full HD monitor or 23" Dell ST2320L full HD monitor? icon_question.gif

Any comments? notworthy.gif

there is still a bezel at the bottom, so if you are do multi-display setup, it still has a gap at the center, assuming you are setup 4x4 display.

Hey guys,

New here so hopefully you can help me out. I'm looking for an external monitor for my laptop, about 23'-24' and plan to use it for casual gaming: a bit of FPS and such, and LOTS of movie watching. Also i'd like to at some point connect my PS3 to it so HDMI would probably be important. Budgets max at RM600 so anything lower would be good. I've heard alot of people pimping Dell U2312HM, but was wondering if there were any other suggestions?

Thanks
Maxieos

You'll have to manually adjust it at the resolution panel, if it does not have such option, perhaps you can add it as additional resolution at either NVidia, AMD or Intel control panel (provided the driver support it), but beware that such resolution will not display correctly as expected, and using such resolution full screen shall see some pixels being doubled to fit the space thus it'll either looks blurry or the picture has double-image effect.

Or if you can, just go to local store, should have plenty of options and lots of much affordable price.

Note: Dell price is inclusive delivery to door step. Call for warranty also engineer will go to door step. thumbup.gif
Can use Bank draft/Cheque payment as well. wink.gif
