Nothing wrong with that to be honest, you backpass to draw them out in order to stretch them. The more stretched they are, the bigger is the space for your 1 extra man to exploit.

Therotically yes, but in Liverpools game, all we did was crroses from the defence. And it also means we ran out of ideas going forward. Not good imho.

Yes he is da man!
*middle finger* to my friend who always curse me saying Lucas is a rubbish..
He is just the rising star =)
I see the "young Darren Fletcher" anyhow..

QUOTE(Rotuham @ Oct 1 2011, 10:00 PM)
Have to agree that lucas did very well. The yellow card came from a mistake of  someone losing the ball upfront.

On a side note, everton fans were disgraceful cursing and throwing objects at suarez and bellamy when taking corners. doh.gif
*
Yup, was so disgrace..
Hope FA will fine them!!!
How can you throw stuffs to people like Suarez and Bellamy who are doing their job @ their working hours!!!
Yeap, they are working riteee..Just that their suit is jersey and not formal attire..

True and i think that is mostly down to the fact that we lack a true playmaker in our team. In this occasion we could really use a player like Aqualani.

WTF winning also feel disappointed some ppl need to ask himself if he can do better if he is in Kenny's position. These kind of fans deserve Roy Hodson as their favorite team's coach so they can forever complain.
I am not even a Liverpool fan but i feel happy for them winning and feel grateful for what Kenny has done so far.

You know Kenny could have just left Liverpool to dust, he don't have to prove a thing, he's already a legend. He did all this because he love Liverpool so much that he rather risk losing his legendary status if Liverpool fail under him than seeing Liverpool sink into bottom. If you're a real Liverpool fan then shut up and show utmost support to him and the players (Hi Andy Caroll)

Classy indeed but the owner would veto it simply due to his age imo. What are the chances of Comolli finding us another Modric ? I would really settle for a Modric.

real liverpool fan should `shut up'? really?

...we don't want this thread to be filled with no-brainer one liners such as `Kenny Rules, I love Kenny, we're going to win the league' either...

bro, there's a difference between ridiculing Kenny and questioning a poor performance. Yes, they will always be a set of fans that will find fault anywhere and will criticize anyone on the helm....but there will also be a set on fans that observe the performances of our players and can spot a poor display and post their views on this forum without being nasty. chill and let everyone have their say....
I don't think those who wanted to see a better display and posted their frustrations here are questioning Kenny's commitment and sacrifice for the club. Its a 2 separate issue altogether...

Even if one day the team doesn't do well and if we all come to a point realizing perhaps Liverpool need a different manager, it doesn't mean Kenny will lose his legendary status in our hearts...never..

long story...
it was after KD's first match last season.....you know what happened...the whole ManU thread was basically laughing at us..and KD....
one bloke there even posted ...when we lost under roy, its roy's fault...but when we lost under KD..it was everyone's fault except KD..

but i always know KD would rescue us.....and true enough we hit a purple patch ..and the respect returned.....that same bloke even posted in the ManU thread `I think KD is a good manager'...

bottom line is i posted the pic to remind myself that no matter what people say about KD...he's a legend.....Like i said...even if things don't work out well at end of this season and KD has to be replaced, i will always remember how he took the risk to come back and restored the pride in us........

but the other main reason is to subtly tell everyone how a particular group of fans of a particular club usually behave...specially those that think English football started during the EPL era...hehehehehe

Luis Suarez was the villain in the eye of every Everton after getting Rodwell sent off , in a somehow rather unethical decision from Martin Atkinson. I'd looked back on the replay and he deserve, probably not more than a yellow, to be honest.

The turning point meant to be the penalty rewarded for the foul on Suarez. Kuyt couldn't convert that into a goal. He missed!. It's was predictable for Howard, he couldn't save the day for Everton when we beat them with the similar scoreline back in Oct 2007. It was easy for him. First class save it was! I couldn't agree with some on the comments of the performances on the new comers. Adam was fairly good in the 1st half. So did Enrique, Lucas, Suarez, Downing. Carroll had a decent game, and applauds for opening the Premier League goal account.

We had almost 65%-70% possession throughout the match, which is really impressive after the win against Wolves last weekend. This is better from Liverpool. Saha were dangerous at times but couldn't give much more threat during 2nd half.Bellamy & Gerrard came on to give extra boost for the team and Gerrard's pass and a cross from Enrique converted the first goal , Carroll it was. Brilliant , absolutely brilliant play from the Captain.

In short, the performances were far better from the game at Anfield last week. We should keep the current form and momentum against the S*ums on the 15th.

Happy weekend for all Reds fan. YNWA !
