Guys, enough point fingers to others...they have 3rd team that can beat half epl club, we have best midfield....can we just put our emotion aside and feel excited for our game against stoke...

On a more serious note, Stoke will be a very difficult place to get points. They are still undefeated in the league (though it's just 3 games) and their bus is very nicely parked in front of their goal line.

Arghh...the discussion that we cant win against stoke still fresh in my mind...when torres cant past through their defender, we complain that we need ariel threat...now we have caroll, so by chances, can we win tonight...? with belamy and suarez (maybe), their defence has to change tactical/mindset against various attack...huhuhu...feel excited...

Stoke have a huge but less than mobile backline. Fielding Carroll would only play into their hands. We should start with Suarez on his own upfront and hope his wizadry on the ball and quick turns will cause discomfort to Stoke's massive backline.

acording to King Kenny

QUOTE
Dalglish said: "Steven won't be too far away. The tests that have come back are far better than what was anticipated, so we are delighted by that. We've had some very positive news and will just wait for the progress to continue."

He added: "We've had positive news but the date (of a return) the club has stated remains the same."

I think he will return against spurs next week and hopefully we can see last 5-10 minutes from him tonite =)

Another things that lingering in my head is, when the team not playing well in 15, 30 minute earlier..maybe the team 'terikut2' corak permainan pihak lawan. does do the passing/possesion 1st in our own half, will make them more confidence and stay focus? that will be benifit us since we are away.

another things is, our former player, mr Crouch. aerial threat..who will man mark him? coates? agger? or just let enrique and flanagan/sktel shut down their wingers...(stoke play with wingers?)

biggrin.gif .Just to lower sky high expectations,we have never won there since they were promoted to EPL.So i think it's fair to comment that this trip is tougher than
Emirates earlier.Arsenal was in all time low with lack of transfers, injuries, loss of key players. On the other hand,Stoke are doing really well, unbeaten in the league and gave thun a thrashing in the europa league plus they have strengthened really well in the transfer window with crouch etc.

BUT,if we play our pass and move game we stand a good chance to win icon_rolleyes.gif
Again, our key to this match is the little magician luis suarez.

I think coates should start in this game alongside agger. Both of them got the physical attributes to defend against stoke. And I hope bellamy will make his debut today. smile.gif

No.Gerrard said he wont be involved against stoke. Most definitely on the bench against spurs and a start against brighton.

Darn OT but is anyone else watching the Rugby World Cup? Japan came so close to tying the French. Some of those Jap guys are huge. Makes me wonder why our Malaysian lads are still so tiny. Reckon it's to do with the diet. Raw fish is high in protein whilst Nasi Lemak is high in calories and devoid of any nutrition.
