Mate you've just made me feel incredibly proud. I think everyone should follow your example. I shudder to think that a time will come where younger fans forget about him altogether. If there is one thing Liverpool fans never do, it's forget.  It's like I've been saying all this while, information is so easy to access and if you are to call yourself a proper Liverpool fan, you simply must read about Shankly. There is a reason why fans today still talk about him all the time. I dare say you'll never come across another football manager with similar stories. There is a darn good reason we put a statue of him in front of Anfield. Wasn't just for decorations sake.

Here's someone who along with Bob Paisley, literally repainted the training ground themselves whilst we were still struggling in Division 2. Here is a man who even after he retired returned to Anfield as a fan and guess what? On one occasion, he didn't even sit in the VIP box which he could. Can't remember who we were playing but suddenly chants of Shankly emanated from the crowd and low and behold, the great man was standing amongst the fans. When asked why he would do that he replied, "this is where I belong". Legend! We are what we are today because of this great man.

I think Jones call up for senior England might be due to the fact that defensive area is quite thin in the squad. Pliz correct me. But in midfield I think the squad has so many options.
I watched he played against Azerbaijan and quite impressed with his performance. Lets just say he continued where he left off in the Bolton game. Lets see how he does against Israel tonite.
