I don't like the idea of losing both Mereiles and Aquilani. Like many of you guys said, Shelvey and Spearing have both got a long way to go to establish themselves as a regular. Before the start of the season, almost everyone compliment the depth that we have in the midfield area. But now, it doesn't that deep anymore.. Let's hope Stevie G comes back before either one of Lucas or Adam got injured.

The other option is Henderson, who can also move to a more central position with Kuyt playing on the right.

Anyway, I wish Mereiles the best of luck at Chelsea. Thanks for your service!

Really hate to say this but I guess Harry Redknapp is the only manager who can hold on to his valuable player. Its amazing how much power a player have nowadays. Arsenal already lost 2 of their best players.
And you wonder how Harry managed to keep hold of Modric and Bale even without champions league football.. You gotta to admire the way the Totteham manager are handling this kind of situations. The fans will still be happy to see their favourite players still playing for them.. For the other teams supporters, just don't print any players name on your newly bought jersey yet..

Kinda feel like us being a feeder club for Chelsea for the last 2 years with the sale of
1. Benanyoun
2. Torres
3. Mereiles

Who's next?

Benanyoun is a fail.. Torres.. Worst fail.. Mereiles indeed a great player but he handed a transfer request..

You wonder how many transfer request has Modric already handed in since the start of the transfer window but Harry still managed to keep him at Spurs.. I know the whole "no-player-is-bigger-than-the-club" thing, but this is also about the ambition of the club. If you are selling your star players, you have to get 'bigger' player to come in to show the fans that the club has big ambition.

So the good thing is; we are also getting players to come in:
1. Coates (cover for the aging Carragher)
2. Bellamy (more of a replacement for Ngog)

Midfield -ve
Attack +ve
Defense +ve

Earlier, we may look overcrowded in the midfield area. Now we look more balanced.

Nice to see him settle in well at Milan. Let's hope his performance will bring up his value.

Why not start both Carroll and Suarez? I think this combination should be given more games to flourish. Bellamy could come on with 20minutes remaining (when all their giant defenders has gotten tired) to run at their defenders.

Only games can help Andy regain his confidence to get on the score sheets regularly. And this doesnt come by warming the bench.

Yeah, I know. Just messing with him a bit. Good to see a rival football fans put in so much effort to dig up information about rival clubs and put together a good debate just to emphize who's team is better. Really a good fan! Congratulations! You have truly achieved something amazing in life! I hope you get an award for being a good and loyal football fan;-)

On a more serious note, Stoke will be a very difficult place to get points. They are still undefeated in the league (though it's just 3 games) and their bus is very nicely parked in front of their goal line.

I don't know about you guys but I think we played well enough to win any PL games. I don't really think there's much fault to the performance. Right, the finishing could have been better but have you thought how they defend through out the game, literally with 10men inside of their penalty box especially in the 2nd half at home. Not Anfield but the Brittania.

Kenny was not far off in saying the referees has been sort of anti-Liverpool in recent years (remember beach ball?). This kind of penalty will not be awarded to stoke if AF team was the one playing last night. We had a good penalty shout in the 2nd half as well when it was a very clear deliberate hand ball. I don't care if some of you wanna criticize the team but for me, I'm started to think that if you wanna do well or win the premier league, you gotta have some of the referees respect.

Guys, what do you think about Skrtel playing in RB position against Gareth Bale this Sunday? I'm a bit nervous about this:(

I think at the very least, both Suarez and Bellamy should start against Wolves. This is a better combination than Suarez + Caroll. Let's hope the competition in the front will bring out more hunger in Caroll's game.

I know that a lot of us will be expecting to beat Wolves tonight especially at home. But let's not forget our lesson from last season where we lost 1-0 at anfield. Wolves, like Stoke, is a difficult opposition to break down in defense while using their pacey counter attack. We should not underestimate this kind of team if we wanna beat them. Hopefully we'll play the way we play against Bolton.

we really playing bad in 2nd half. carrol seems like need more practise. good win but not convincing enough for me. how we want face stoke city if play like this in carling cup.they even put pressure on MU.haha

Not as good as the first half, I agree. But I don't think hitting the post twice and amazing saves by Henessy from Downing and Suarez is consider a bad half at all. It's just that our defense looks a bit shaky at times.

I thought Carroll played better last night than all his games before this in Liverpool shirt. Roger Johnson was having a nightmare against him and Suarez last night. Even the commentator said the Wolves defenders look soft against our big striker.
