just ask this question to urself...Bellamy or Ngog as backup striker??..i know who i would prefer rolleyes.gif
*
For me, I don't think Bellamy is better than Ngog.
This is especially Bellamy is already 32 years old. And Ngog performed pretty good during the pre-season friendly.
If it is the backup striker we need, I reckon Ngog can be the backup nonetheless.

Anyway, the deal is done.
Just hope Bellamy can give us the impact like McAllister did.

ah come on guys, dont start with Carroll. We got a great squad from the last what, 2 years before? They are young yet they can learn from Gerrard, Carra and Bellamy tongue.gif in adapting how Liverpool play with KD strategy.

It's a shame really. I always felt Ngog has the talent to make it here, in fact skill wise he could even be a better player than Bellamy at his peak. Sadly, he lacks the mental toughness to lead the line. Bellamy on the other hand, is not afraid to express himself. In fact i think mentally, he's alot like Suarez. Strong willed but volatile. Only that he's crazy both on and off the pitch.

thats what i said before..a winning, hate to lose mentality player!!...Ngog has the physique to become a good striker..but sadly quick thinking brain is not one of them..whereas Bellamy may be one of the smallest striker in BPL,but he's got brain! biggrin.gif

C`mon guys.. C.Bellamy is a good signing rightt...
Vast BPL experience..Definitely a good back up striker.. Could be easily be the first team sheet member as well..

Ngog was just a decent one..When some of your top players got knock or something, a back up is required, and if guess which one will you choose? A decent one or an experienced ones..?

There are trade offs i must say but overall, Bellamy signing was a great one.. His pace is terrifying, his runs-behind-the-defenders were also dangerous.. Could be perhaps a wiser man as well since he is 32 now..

Reasons I believe Meireles leaving
-No pay rise
-King Kenny keep buying CM and he is going down the pecking order
-being sent as spy to Chelsea F.C tongue.gif

I still can forgive him for leaving but Torres is a no-no.

I guess it is quite normal nowadays for players to leave if a good offer comes knocking even to a rival club. They're all mercenaries anyway. Just don't talk shit about the old club after leaving like you know who. laugh.gif

sold to chelsea with a hefty price and get it back for a fraction of it
is it possible? who knows. provided he still has his touch, only with us rclxms.gif
