IF we could get Adam Johnson. Then our squad is definitely good enough to knock scums out of their perch this season.
Is Adam Johnson is unwanted at Man City?English Clubs Liverpool Football Club - The Kop Talks 2011, Liverpool 2 -1 Wolves : LS7 scored again

I remember Bellamy was a flop.
He was no better than Robbie Kean. It seems some of you are getting excited with Bellamy return to our squad. He's 32 years old now. Is he getting better now? |

QUOTE(hfi @ Sep 1 2011, 05:35 PM) Bellamy was a lot better than Kean actually. He was no where near a flop, Rafa only bought him to just get by until he could afford Torres. Unlike then, Bellamy will not be solely depended on as a main striker. Now he's just a squad player that Kenny can rely on should Carroll's form or fitness deteriorates. Personally, i think we've made some terrific transfers this season. Young promising CB, reliable leftback, natural left winger, 2 good midfielders and an experienced back up striker. i hope you're right. I hope he can be another "Gary McAllister". |

QUOTE(leftist @ Sep 1 2011, 05:54 PM) For me, I don't think Bellamy is better than Ngog. This is especially Bellamy is already 32 years old. And Ngog performed pretty good during the pre-season friendly. If it is the backup striker we need, I reckon Ngog can be the backup nonetheless. Anyway, the deal is done. Just hope Bellamy can give us the impact like McAllister did. |

QUOTE(hfi @ Sep 5 2011, 08:28 PM) It's difficult to say what Rafa had in mind when he decided to mould Lucas into this DM type role but my guess it had something to do with Lucas's mentality. Back then we could all see his talent but one thing no one knew for certain was his personality. Maybe Rafa felt he had a certain aggresion or mental toughness that would be best suited for a DM type role. I mean if you look at players like Masc, Hamann, Makelele, Gatusso etc, they are all head strong type of characters. Lucas has the same trait, he was thrown into the deep end by Rafa, went through a shit storm and somehow got out stronger. I think Ferguson is doing the exact same thing with Anderson whos was also an attacking midfielder back in Brazil. That was like 2 years ago. This guy was one of the most cursed POS back then. http://www.football-corner.org/2009/08/24/...up-lucas-leiva/ http://www.liverpool-kop.com/2009/08/poll-...bout-lucas.html |

QUOTE(maranello55 @ Sep 25 2011, 12:02 AM) remember...KD is not here to win EPL...hes REBUILDING the team. Second this. I can see him trying out combinations n seeing the strength in each player and realise weaknesses so he knows which part to be fixed. I think KD just dont want Suarez to kill himself n let him rest early. Liverpool will be in trouble in hes injured. It makes sense if KD wanted to rest Suarez. |

I find Carroll contributed nothing on the field.
He should be substituted by now. |
