thank you mbj78, keii-kun dan Francesco Top8 for sharing.

Did you all attend any seminar b4? if yes, which one/s?

as a newbie, i'm attending 2 weeks from now organised by a rempit group.

basicly I only know simple techniques which are straight forward. actually i'm just curious to know how other techniques work.

i disagree with some people taking advantage by charging thousands RM just to learn a few techniques. I inquired once for personal coaching is 2K.

just to test one simple method, next week i may want to go to bank rakyat and ar-rahnu a gold bracelet. then with the cash i'll just top up into my gold account and wait till end of the year (around 4 months).

we'll see what happens by then  thumbup.gif

Just learn it online.
Not a fan of any gold/silver seminar by investment scheme/group, because i think they just want to sell their products.

The point is, u buy some recognized gold and pawn it. If u get lucky and the gold prizes increased, u gain. That`s all.
U must have a thick blood because there`s plenty of factors to considered.

If u committed for gold investment, just buy 995 or 999.

Hi Guys!

Can I walk in to a bank and sell my Canadian Gold Maple Leaf or Australian Gold Nugget coins or Kijang Emas at their buying market rate? If yes, which bank?

What if I do not have any documentation (paper)?

Except 916 has robustness for general circulation coinage, as opposed to 995 or 999 [Which is why most Islamic dinars are minted to 916/917 standards]. Though in such a situation, that means fiat money has literally gone up in flames!

When i bought Kijang, i did ask the officer about sell back. She mention we doesn't required to bring anything, except the Kijang. duh tongue.gif

But asking and actual selling is two different thing.

Btw, i still keep my receipt.

hi guys..
i just started to read bout gold investment these last few days..
from what i understand, investing in bank gold account is not preferable unless the bank is backed up by physical gold.
so it is better to buy physical gold.. am i correct?

Yes, read these articles:

FAQs on Gold Investment Accounts (GIA) You Should Know
Have you studied the FAQs as seen on GIA’s promotion leaflets and websites? Here are two very important FAQs and WARNING you should be aware of (normally listed at the bottom of the GIA’s promotools) …Full story, http://bit.ly/r0w0fY

Allocated Gold or Unallocated Gold – That is the Question
“Buy physical gold and have it stored. We do not recommend you buy unallocated gold as, really, you are only buying a piece of paper that says your account is worth the same as the futures gold price. Not actually gold.“ Full story, : http://bit.ly/psEhbn

Better put your money in Genneva Gold Savings Plan: http://bit.ly/qW1Yid

Hope this helps. Cheers! smile.gif

Oh yes, I think so too. Read this..

Wikileaks China buying gold memo set to push gold prices higher
We have a suspicion that the following cable from the US embassy in China is about to go not viral but very much global, and prompt all those mutual fund managers who are on the golden sidelines to dip a toe in the 24 karat pool. Full story, http://bit.ly/pqCKdW
