USB fan.... doesn't have what i want.. hehehe might get a vantec UV put on top of my ps2... i'm using slim... when its hot.... play cinematic that time will be laggy... i already drill holes on top of the sink... and now on 150cfm fan... yes very noisy.. heheh should i blow in or suck out???

erm . hi im newb here. i wud like to ask sumthn . i think its my lens problem cuz i've tried so many times playin dvd 9 game but it wont work. the funny thing is it worked once as i remember. yes its my machine's prob as my other fren's can play it witout problem. i have a few latest games which i cant play also. if it's my lens problem i wud like to fix it myself followin teh guide which was posted here sometime ago.

i've been to a shop askin a guy for a change of a modchip. im nto sure thats my the problem anyway. but he told me in return that the fat version IS like that and asked me to get the slim version now instead. i really want to know if a modchip really affects the game im able to play. but i actually played dvd9 once before after so many tries. isit my lens then?

is the dvd9 your burn by your self or u buy from shop??
if you buy from shop, maybe your lens got problem.
1) try play dvd movies
2) try play audio cd
3) try play dvd9 games (exp gt4)
4) try play cd games (tekken tag)
and post the result .

btw what games that you try to play??
for your info mine ps2 is very old scph39006 ntsc/jap i can play dvd9 without any problem.
if you can play old game but can't play new games maybe your modchip need to change to new one. if you want to change modchip my advice is install ori modchip like matrix infinity crystal chip. if yopu want matrix infinity pm ekai he selling that chip

If you can play DVD5 games smoothly, mean you modchip cannot support DVD9 games...

yup that true, some older modchip don't support dvd9.

i cant even play king kong. and i buy the disc all from shops. fyi, i actually played gt4 once after so many tries. so i suppose it shud be my lens prob huh. i can play dvd movies .. thx for the help anyway. i fixing the white gear thgy now

if i'm not wrong suppose u can play DVD5 game if you can play dvd movies.try to adjust your lens but i don't think your lens problem,maybe it's your modchip.
btw what model your ps2(scph??????) ntsc/j,ntsc/uc or pal??

its scph3**** ntsc/pal . 4-5 yrs adi. i can play audio cd. yes dvd movies aso can. not all dvd5 i can play even ff- x2 aso i cant now lo.

kingkong not dvd9 rite? i cant play that lol. i think better get a new piece of machine. since mod chip aso rm200 + adi. if no other choice..

confirm is your modchip outdated, if u go to local shop like money river
if they want to charge u rm200 you been conned because they sell clone chip.but if ori chip like craytal chip ,dms,matrix infinity .clone chip like mchip2 + intallation you can get rm100.
4 me fat version is better than slim . slim = overheating

Theres no video output from my PS2, donno what happened. Every time I turn on the console theres a flicker on screen for a sec, then the screen is blank (black) and thats it. No sound, No video. Can anyone help me out here???
