That's actually a basic Ezreal strat to control/reset minion wave, or salvage one lost wave at tower.

Definitely don't bother buying runes until level 20 for the tier 3s. I did just that based on advice from level 30 friends.
Another friend played 2 months before me, and I have more runes and champions than him thanks to all the IP savings. Right now his tier 1 and 2 runes are just junked, combining them yields random results.


Using ults to farm minions isn't bad play in some cases.
When I'm tower hugging against 2 champions as Irelia and they manage to amass a large enough creep wave towards my tower, I WILL use my ult to clear it to prevent potential tower loss and tower diving. That should bring most of the creeps into last hit range for me to Bladesurge around like a ping pong ball. Anyhow, ult cd is like 60 seconds and not 5 minutes.

but I think that Malaysia WCG ezreal using ult to clear waves when he was at mid lane to clear top waves was not agreed by his teammates as they type in all chat "can you don't use ult to hit minions?"

Tier 1 rune is cheaper than my used socks so if you really really really really really need rune then get some tier 1 and save up for tier 3. But then, Garen.a gives a lot of free tier 1 so you might as well just use the free one. On my original account I started with some tier 1 as well since it costs me merely a few hundreds(a thousand or so) for a full set. And that gave me slight advantage to rune-less players till level 29. It's your take.

Another gambler way of getting tier 3 rune is buy a ton of tier 1 rune and combine them in hope that you will get the tier 3 rune you want. There's a long thread around somewhere on the net stating that it's actually cheaper than directly getting the tier 3 runes itself but it is a gamble and if your luck sucks, you will get a lot of useless tier 3. You can buy a lot of tier 1 now and then combine them later in hope you will get a tier 3 that is useful, no money wasted that way and you have advantage from the get-go.

My guess is they are 1.9k to 2.0k Elo which will be the top tier of SEA. I asked Zeus, former SEA team member, in the forum, his opinion is that our player are not bad skill-wise but we lose in team coordination and chemistry. As stated by you with the Ezreal example. A problem is that pro gamer is hardly a viable career path in our country so most don't have the amount of time to train like the players of other countries so there's a gap skill-wise.

1. Kog unbelievable carry. Late game really hardcore if u know how to use it properly.
2.Renekton. This alligator will bite you to the death, his slash n dice combo plus with his fury really packs a punch
3.Ashe. Despite being cheap, she is versatile and easy to use (Newbie friendly). Nice initiating ulti (global aoe stun).

When I was watching tourney streams, the ezreal likes to do this to prevent waves from pounding on their tower while they are positioning around key objectives like Baron. Teams like CLG tend to clear waves, then fake Baron attempts to force team away from defending their tower.

I love Irelia, damn nice with true damage, I can even kill a couple even when full supporting bottom hahaha.

Irelia is item dependent, don't think you should be going full support on her. The True Damage component of Hiten Style I find is most effective early-mid game. It falls off late game when evryone has 3k health, and you have people like Tryn and Gangplank critting for a few hundred. Biggest crit I ever took was like 1k+.

I think even by going with tournament results, Irelia doesn't really shine. I think doublelift went 0-12 with her?

Yet they nerf her? Y? lol

Because too many non-pro users don't know how to anti her, hence the massive amount of whining and hence the nerf. Either that or to continue the trend of nerf irelia.

I agree with this. Irelia 'feels' like a very OP hero in the right hands when you're laning up against her and you don't know what to do. Her weakest phase is in fact levels 1-4 before the sustain and damage from Hiten Style kicks in, but a lot of players let themselves be zoned out by an aggresive Irelia during this phase. It's a lot like playing against Vlad where he heals up the pokes in one creep wave.

Irelia's strength is she doesn't require a good early game to excel later. She can go 0-4 and still end up a terror mid game and I do believe a lot of players have an issue with this. Once she get's her TriForce, she is a threat. And her kit is another area we hear a lot of QQing about. Hiten Style's True Damage allows her to build a full defensive build, and yet be able to deal decent amounts of damage.

On a seperate note, I tried Smartcasting yesterday as I'm practicing my AP mids. Definitely awesome for combo nuke heroes like Ryze, Cass and Veigar. Smartcast FTW.

One thing i notieced is that, no asians like to play a tank. Everyone wants to play a carry. And u can see that its the same in this forums as well.

Look at the champ picks for most of you guys, all carries lol. Killing really that important ?
