Thanks for the idea and comments so much guys..
You guys rocks...!! Anyway, like mADmAN said, it really destroy the purpose of the removable mobo tray if i were to route it that way. Besides, i need it to go through so many device (Asus PCIE X1 sound card, GC, Audigy 2 Sound Card) in order for it to reach the bottom and that is going to be a hassle whenever you need to take out the mobo tray.. Well, that being said, my Sata cables (as seen in the pictures) are already blocking the removable mobo tray thingy..So, i need to sacrifice one or another..LOL.. Any idea where i can find extension cables for the 8pin connector? ----- Edited : Nicely done there afosz. Especially on the sata cables. At first, its really bad when twisted that way..Now, its great looking This post has been edited by akachester: Jan 20 2008, 06:59 PM |

The only place i could think off now and will make it looks better - between the PCI cards and mobo.anyway, yours aren't bad either. btw, those cables cannot go through behind mobo tray? im sure you still not satisfy with that Well, i like spiral sata cables. It make things look neater IF you are unable to hide it. But if you are able to hide it, it will look much better... |

QUOTE(akachester @ Jan 20 2008, 06:58 PM) Thanks for the idea and comments so much guys.. if u see my cables i didnt bother using the holes near the sata ports.... as i want my mobo tray to be easily removable. but then again the sata cables are easy to remove so no big deal. easier to remove then routing the cables between the PCIe and mobo. You guys rocks...!! Anyway, like mADmAN said, it really destroy the purpose of the removable mobo tray if i were to route it that way. Any idea where i can find extension cables for the 8pin connector? ----- Edited : Nicely done there afosz. Especially on the sata cables. At first, its really bad when twisted that way..Now, its great looking extension cable... i strongly suggest u take a trip to jalan pasar (i know ur young...so bring thy daddy). they would have all u need there (except cable sleeves). once u have all the parts, either make it ur own (usually involves crimping the pins with the cables) else, if ur not competent with a soldering iron, find someone who is. some of the shops in Japan Pasar might even be able to make it for u on the spot. so make sure u have all ur measurements ready. u need the male and female molex, male and female pins for the molex and of course the necessary cables. heatshrinks...not sure. also, u could try and ask some of the bulkers for the Silverstone PP04 though im sure the price will be more than a trip to Jalan Pasar btw, u already have the A2 soundcard. why are u using the Asus PCIe soundcard?? |

This is what I did last time for graphic card
Cost me less than RM5 to get it complete .. . ![]() So just try to get the right connector, pin, wires and it could be done with a crimp ... btw .. could get industrial heat shrink at the shop as well .. very cheap only .. |

Wow..Thanks for the tips there. So, people at Jln Pasar will know about those stuff if i were to ask them? Been there once before but it was over-crowded that time so i did not ask much. Well, i bought the PP04 before (I think cost roughly RM25) but it was not really that long. I bought it for my cousin who have a tough time routing the wires for TJ06 which at the same situation, have the PSU at the top while running BTX style. extension cable... i strongly suggest u take a trip to jalan pasar (i know ur young...so bring thy daddy). they would have all u need there (except cable sleeves). once u have all the parts, either make it ur own (usually involves crimping the pins with the cables) else, if ur not competent with a soldering iron, find someone who is. some of the shops in Japan Pasar might even be able to make it for u on the spot. so make sure u have all ur measurements ready. u need the male and female molex, male and female pins for the molex and of course the necessary cables. heatshrinks...not sure. also, u could try and ask some of the bulkers for the Silverstone PP04 though im sure the price will be more than a trip to Jalan Pasar btw, u already have the A2 soundcard. why are u using the Asus PCIe soundcard?? Guess i need to check out that place for once and see what stuff they have there Regarding the sound card, well, i did not really use the Asus PCIe sound card. Its just that it felt "wasted" if i were to not install it. Guess for routing cable purposes, i need to take it off..LOL...
