Sleeve some of ur cables and try to mount it to the case rather hanging around
as for the IDE cable maybe u could get some of those coolermaster IDE cable looks better with the wrapping .... same goes for the sata cable.....and for ur switches cable can sleeve it to black or blue to match ur water cooling |

comments plz...
[/quote] I think what you can do if u are scared of sleeving using those sleeving kit .... maybe u could just heatshrink it... it is much cheaper then sleeving kit as well...all u need to do just fit through the cables and get a hair dryer to shrink it to the size of ur cables....done !! for better result keep ur zip tie so that after the heatshrink shrinked it would not move around ... as for the sata cable u could route from bottom instead of going through the gap between two HDDs...it is better for airflow as well... same goes for the rear exhaust fan power connector and the gc power connector if u could get longer cable.... as for the IDE cables if u dont want it to be so obvious u could actually fold it in zip zap manner and hold it with some tapes...the best is u could also just heat shrink it for better holding.... |

QUOTE(r4ydc24 @ May 23 2006, 10:48 AM) but sum ppl juz dun wanna deal with the sleecings.. u kno laa, the serabut2 kinda thing... n pust all the wire into it... then heatshrink pulak not tight enuff... as for only heatshrink, sum sizes, u dun hafta remove the connectors ryt? but that case, u hafta deal wif the sizes 1st la ryt.. That's why it is easier to heat shrink them sleeve since u dont need to remove the molex connector ..... while heat shrink only need to get the desired size only ...getting black heat shrink is easy men , any size but only one color.... |

QUOTE(Silon @ Jun 9 2006, 10:38 PM) excellent work. thats really nice no problem as long as u fit it properly and the alignment of ur mobo to the tray is perfect... nth wrong would happens... hmmm id stop if i were you. id be satisfied already btw, how is the accelero? does it bend your gcard at all? i heard it isnt very heavy, but im still curious. previously i had bad alignmnet of mobo and the tray which causes the gc and sound card having difficulty in slot in and take out with out much force... so be cautious of the alignment when screwing it down... |

QUOTE(GoldenHawk @ Jun 12 2006, 03:42 PM) Err... not sure if you guys would consider my 30-minute job here "nice", but it's just something I managed to whip-up for one of my customers. Built the rig for him actually Should be nice enough since the cables are not long enough for better routing and there isnt much space for routing as well.. [attachmentid=113994] [attachmentid=113995] Nothing fancy really. Done only using some tape & a few strands of wire-tie those wires can be better with some UV sleeve |

Is this case really good for cable management ?
I feel that it is kind of cramp becoz the placement of the PSU at the bottom... those wires are just obvious regardless where u try to hide it .... |

Acutally the origin of your problem is the numbers of HDD drive and the optical drive you own....
unless u have lessen drive else it is hard to achieve nice cable management... |

QUOTE(ksl279 @ Aug 22 2006, 10:47 AM) Hi all, pls gimme ur 0.02 cents on my cable management. I think the issue is u use two colors for your cables, so it make it a bit of contrasting and resulted non standard look.... so the suggestion is to make it the same colors and tie those that can be hold together with zip tie or anyway of your choices besides it is consider good enough ... |

Maybe you can use a better materials such as zip tie to hold your CCFL wires rather than using tapes men.... others are alright .... but feel like u have a bit more wires than usual....maybe u dont need so many UV CCFL ... especialy those that short ... it is not so bright after all.. nice job anyway !! I think you could improve by having the sata cable have bettter routing instead of looping it ... unless u are doing UV decoration...maybe u could cable tie together and route from the same direction. for your CPN9500 cooler, the cable could be fold and tie with zip tie... or you could have it sleeved which will be troublesome.... and a bit tricky..depend on skill .. as for the top area around PSU to drive bay ... you could try to get some colored acrylic board and cover it so your PSU cables are not visible.. lastly is the casing fan cable....if possible use extension and try to route to behind of the mobo and back to your molex connector.... can try out custom made extension ..very cheap but need a bit of soldering skill.. sorry cant help you with that coz i am working of the techqniue as well... with those fixed it should be nice ... will be looking forward to your modification men . |
