bro,
i've went through this debate with tkh before
to finally realize the missing point here was ETHICS, these people lack ethics...
sorry i gotta be brutally direct and truthful
anyways
i don't know and i don't care la...if it don't make sense to them or if it don't get into their brain, then that's just to bad

the idea of maximus85 being defended is UNFKIN believable, unreal
is this for real, am i am seeing things

tkh
very long support Arsenal? i doubt that, unless ure some 50-60 years old fart
long is when we talk about  > 20 years, the real fan's itself in london
those that have really witness the ups and downs on Arsenal truly, the era before wenger and then
we are merely some glory hunter all the way in Malaysia that have been supporting Arsenal on an average 7-8 years or so
and i know my role
despite how much doom and gloom it is, i don't go cursing my own club manager as idiot, rooting for them to lose,
disgusting,

if the time wenger leaves, then he leaves, ill be glad to accept whoever that replaces him and back the new manager up
but right now, he is Mr.Arsenal....i am right by his back, the question is are you?
its not that bad of an idea to ask people to jump ship what,
after all we started supporting Arsenal via Glory Hunting some where in our life, if Beandy aka Yukielow can do the humpty dumpty, why cant them? sleep.gif
once again, transfer window aint over, pls fkin wait till 31st August. I am also eager to see transfers myself

hey ... what glory hunter all ... been supporting arsenal since 1991 (form 2) when everyone of my class mate was either a man utd or liverpool fans ... my favorite player was limpar then ... so do not doubt there r always arsenal fans in malaysia before wenger's time ...

n of course everyone have the right to comment or even sound their frustration because i'm sure everyone here love the club ... no one is right or wrong here ... just some giving constructive comment and some giving destructive comment.

n i always believe no-one including the managers n players r bigger than the club.

n by the way ... some may say i'm being silly (even my friends laughing n teasing me when it come to arsenal) ... i still believe that wenger is doing a good job despite not winning any trophy the last six years ... yes i'm frustrated for not seeing us winning anything (since wenger have pampered us with trophy ever since his arrival here).

but of course if we can find a manager to fill in wenger's place ... i'm glad to have him replaced ... but do not forget what wenger is currently dealing with ... the rising wage structure, the stadium loan n to remain competitive in the EPL ... this new manager have to cope with all this problem as well.

lastly to me wenger is the best signing arsenal ever made.

The way i looked at it is not wenger dun have $ to buy players, he can afford to chunk out 20-30mil for a player but the problem is the wage.
Look at nasri, he been offered 200k wage per week, if 5 yrs contract that close to 50mil. And that's only 1 player.
What happened if suddenly other players demand for this pay also?

The problem now is Arsenal can't attract other players to come in because of the pay, even they join, few years later they will leave because they got to know some clubs in england offer much better.

So in my opinion, wenger had no other ways than keep on buying youngsters with low wages and hoping them to stay after they are experience enough and hope they satisfy with their pay. It's like bring in new youngsters with wage for around 20k-30k, once their skill are improved and become the core of the team, offer them 70k-100k and hoping they will satisfy with it. But of coz there will be always some rich clubs come in to snatch the players with 200k offer.

yeah lah ... finally someone notice it ... i think our wages structure is somewhere around 110-120k weekly wages for the highest earner which previously held by fabregas.

therefore sometimes it's very very hard to hold on to players when other clubs come in and handing 150-185k weekly wages to our players and also on signing new players as well ... as the risk factor is very high in handing new players a BIG contract only to see they fail or did not perform as expected (n i believe we cannot afford to make such mistake especially our finances r tight) ... further more this will discomfort our current players as well to see new players coming in with BIGGER salary.

we can shout at all this player on placing MONEY on top of LOYALTY to the club ... but how many can withstand such lucrative offer ... they r earning a living as well ... n when the different is like 30-40% extra it's make a big different (not like a certain some fella leave us because of 5k lesser than the promised amount - n best of all he is from arsenal academy, a suppose arsenal fans as a child playing for his favorite club).

i have no hard feeling seeing nasri n fabregas leaving us this season ... n yes it does hurt our position in winning trophy ... but i believe can still win games without them.

anyway i guess enough of them already ... now our problem is udinese ... we have to beat them tonight ... GO GUNNERS !!!

yeah other clubs are paying triple our salary scale and spoil the market. but that is just for short term, there is no sustainability in this kinda business plan. Look at MC, they are willing to let adebayor go for free to save on the wages. They never think about this when they sign him? just offer some out of this world money to get him but in the end dont know wat to do with him now.  laugh.gif

after the stadium is fully paid off, I believe we would have more financial muscle but I still believe we should stick with our existing principle, let the rest spend all they want. that is not the arsenal way.

only wenger can lead the team to challenge the top4 every season with such limited budget. those who is calling to replace him must be out of their mind. there is no one more suitable to lead us than wenger. While winning title is important, its not everything. we have to uphold our tradition and not to spend excessively, remember Leeds ?

I like your comment ... cheers.
