*
Yes you still can. Normally wires are between the pillar plastic cover and the metal park of the pillar. Not inside the metal part itself.

My shop is just behind Phoenix Plaza, Cheras. biggrin.gif Just follow Tmn Len sen signboard and after a big turning to your left, turn left again at the first junction (if coming from leisure mall). If coming from tmn counaught, just head toward kajang but follow Tmn Len Sen signboard also and also after a big left turn, turn left at the first junction. biggrin.gif

Go straight and enter the guard house (small with umbrella) and you will see a motorshop, my shop is just behind the motor shop.

QUOTE(jefizz @ Oct 10 2011, 02:16 AM)
hye kevin.. many good news and happy driver u have here.. i have a thing i owe u.. this chassis foam review... hehe.. (SORRY I'M BROKEN ENGLISH - just try to write although broken)

my car is civic ej (year 1996).. after installing it at kevin places, my car is quieter about 10% than before although my car already have soundproofing at front bonnet and all door..

after a week, my ride is so good.. the bumper problem settle about 15% only, and i can't feel the comfort ride like others because i use sport absorber.. however, the different is very noticeable.. can speed more at the bumper than before.. also cornering after foaming is faster than before.. if before foaming, my comfort level at cornering is 90kmj (normal corner, not sharp one), now the same feel of comfort at cornering is 110kmj without feeling my car will 'eat divider'.

after install it, u will feel your car quieter, handling is good and braking also good.. before this, if i brake hard, all my thing at behind seat will drop at the floor.. after foaming, i break 80% hard and carrying food in polistren at rear seat (coz front car suddenly brake), my food still at the seat.. very surprise.. i'm afraid my food drop that time.. haha.. look behind after that, my food still safe..

another thing kevin, the wind noise only come when my speed is above 140kmj.. the same noise before installation come as early at 90kmj.. your stuff very dangerous la.. hehe.. i always 170kmj without notice it if i didn't see the speedometer..

so, overall this product is VERY GOOD!!! Kevin, feel want to foam the A-PILLAR.. want more speed.. have discount? hehe.. message me if got..
*
Wow bro, such good improvement even though you had so much goodies on your car already! Bravo! Glad to know it helps especially during emergency braking and cornering. Now you can go faster already ...with safety. biggrin.gif

For the A pillar, dont worry , my price is very reasonable and alot cheaper compare to other competitor. And after you do the A pillar, you will even feel the braking have less nosedive plus cornering is even better! biggrin.gif Worthwhile investment . Call or sms when you coming over.

QUOTE(ellist @ Oct 10 2011, 12:10 PM)
Yo Bro, I am wayne, the white myvi did the chassis foam + A-pillar on 3/10 Sun. Here is my review:
1) Not immediately feel after foamed, but after 2 days, magic happened! The first thing i noticed was my steering became tighter(is it called "better handling" ? i m a noob in car).
2) Solidness of the chassis increased, as I passed through speedbumps or road holes, you can hear a very solid and bassy "thum" sound...And to my surprise, the interior noise reduced alot! Perhaps the reason is chassis has been strengthened?
3) Wind and Road noise dampening can't really feel, it is as loud as usual.
Anyway, if you are looking for chassis strengthening, this product really works! Bro, I saw some foams are still attached under the chassis hole, mind to help me trim it? hehe
*
Yes, drop by and we can trim for you FOC. biggrin.gif but call or sms first as i might be out delivery stuff.

QUOTE(markljh @ Oct 10 2011, 12:18 PM)
Road noise is very much got to do with the door sound proof.
*
biggrin.gif Yes bro, door sound proof. Will have those up for you guys soon. biggrin.gif

Hi bro,
Have not done on a E30 before but did E60 previously. Can you look underneath your undercarriage and see if there is a plastic cover that cover up the whole undercarriage?

Yes bro, see you thursday 2pm! Thanks for the support! How is your forte doing? Been few months already right after you did the foam with us. I think the most significant improvement on Forte is the wind/road noise. biggrin.gif

Here's a photo of what the underside looks like:

Yes still need to take out some of the cover if not mistaken. Charges will be additional as we need to send it to other shop to get it done first before we can foam it.

QUOTE(evilnickwong @ Oct 11 2011, 10:48 AM)
? Hmm, but there are no covers at all in that photo even. Anyway, could you highlight which are the parts you would normally foam? Just so I have an idea where will be affected. Thanks. smile.gif

The red box is where the cover are, these are smaller then the current BMW covers as we cant see the chassis beam, so it must be under these red boxes. The rear blue box is the rear chassis that we going to foam. biggrin.gif Hope its clear. If you are keen and seriously want to foam it, do pm me /sms me so i can arrange a day with the other workshop to dismantle the cover.
Thanks!

can i knw for myvi... RM300 is included doing whole chasis below? u put there RM100  for A-pillar mean is additional is it?
*
Yes, RM300 inclusive of both left and right (some 4 beams/some 2 beams ) , and rear beams (some 1 beams, some 3 beams).

A pillar is additional add on for those who want to reduce wind noise and improve stability at the front plus less body flex during emergency braking. Other competitor is doing RM250 for A pillar. And some dont recommend to do it but we will do it according to your preference . Do drop by so i can explain more and you will understand. biggrin.gif

You can sms me at 016-6960886 for appointment or drop by when you are free.

1) steering have better handling ( feel harder), cornering at 60~80km/h also feel stable.

2) Purposely go through bump or hole with higher speed to test, feel more comfortable.

for the sound/noise reduce, still cant feel it yet.
