how much for FULL CAR foam?
*
Depend on what car. Please pm for pricing.

Have you done on Atos prima 1.1 ?  if yes what's your recommendation (my car got lot's of tire roar) and how much is the cost?
*
Have not seen Atos Prima undercarriage before. Usually doing the undercarriage and rear would reduce the road and wind noise. It would cost RM199 for Atos.

ok bro...block me for 2morrow's 10:30 am slot....time to foam the mpv has come....c u then....thanks

btw, its now day4 after the foaming of the 308.....the ride is definitely more planted, specifically so during hard cornering as well as when goin over our famous bolehland's pothole filled and uneven road surfaces....still only a slight improvement in cabin ambient noise but again the stock levels were pretty good to start with already....all in i'm sold on the product's benefits...if only i can reduce the damn tyre noise now  hmm.gif

cheers
*
Okie bro~ Booked for you already.
Glad to know your 308 gained improvements. biggrin.gif

Juz a short review on d chassis foam which was 'installed' in my car earlier (10am) laugh.gif

Notice tat d overall noise on slow drive hav been reduced n car body do feel a bit stiffer though has not dried up completely coz went through bumpy roads after fixing it.

Didn't manage to drive fast so, will send d 'full review' on improvements in NVH in a couple of days time laugh.gif

Thanks man smile.gif

QUOTE(hitsugayat10 @ Sep 12 2011, 10:34 AM)
Day 2 review for my foamed SGTI (Undercarriage chassis + A Pillar)

Same as yesterday, noise level on slow drive have been reduced, same goes for high speed at 130kmh but not that much as I have expected which I can roughly guess why  sweat.gif

Since the foam 'installed' was a slightly harder version, the handling of d car has improved (also the cause for "not that much" of improvements to noise reduction - opportunity cost, got more for handling, okay la tongue.gif), a bit less body roll on corners and as said in the post of my day 1, chassis is stiffer, improvements can be felt as i go through bumpy roads n bumps  laugh.gif

Comfort wise, dun feel d difference since my car's suspension system is a bit stiff  sweat.gif

Overall, nice upgrade coz improvements can be felt for all NVH factors: Total reduction of NVH = (Noise = vibration) < Handling (better in day 2 than day 1) thumbup.gif

Great improvements with minimal price  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

Thanks bro for you review. Anything let me know.

Just wondering where you foam it?
Need to open the dashboard or what? Will the foam spit into the dashboard after that?
*
A pillar will be foam inside the A pillar, not in the dashboard and does not goes into the dash.
Just open the A pillar cover.
QUOTE(skyblas @ Sep 13 2011, 11:54 AM)
of cuz wont spill into the dash la, or else TS can close shop already, lol

thumbup.gif correct . Just remove the pillar cover and tape off the hole to avoid overflow to other area.

QUOTE(kl_auto @ Sep 15 2011, 02:12 PM)
Greetings,  smile.gif

I do not normally comment on competitor products but in this instance I feel compelled to do so only because the AutoFOAM brand has been mentioned and used as a reference.

It is my intention to only clarify some points mentioned and I do this with respect to all parties concerned. The main area of contention that I feel needs clarification is that of the perception of product similariry.

1) AutoFOAM is NOT the same as ProFoam. While to the lay person they may seem similar, it would be like saying a Kembara is similar to a Range Rover. They both have 4 wheels, 4 doors and are 4 wheel drive. However, as we all know, there exists a world of difference between the two.
2) We offer a very comprehensive 10 Year market leading dual Guarantee referring to performance and durability while I believe this is absent with virtually all our competitors.
3) AutoFOAM was specifically designed and tested for actual Automotive use, and is able to easily withstand the harsh and dynamic environment.
4) One other key point is that Automotive foam is meant to deny water retention in the vehicle's chassis cavities which will eventually cause rusting and metal integrity degradation (if not catastrophic failure).
On the other hand, virtually all of our competitors actually utilize Construction foam, which is not only meant for a different application or environment, but for a totally different industry.

Cheers,

Des

Thanks for your concern Desmond,

I did not refer your product directly, just answering question based on all the same question i get everyday regarding autofoam and profoam. Besides, I am not selling autofoam or profoam. So, no need to trouble big boss Desmond to clarify regarding product similarity.

We have sample in our office and customer can come over to check them out and decide for themself.

Not to worry, our foam are put to strict harsh and daily heat and water torture test and seem to be holding on tight , water and heat proof!

Plus we dont spray tons of water into your chassis unlike other competitor which flood your chassis with water prior to foaming.

If we can use military foam or space foam in our car like NASA use in their rocket, it would even be better compare to just automotive grade on our cars. Its up to the car owner to decide at the end of the day.

cheers des, and happy foaming~

Your car travel less then 4,000km that day your bro drove in to foam, i guess the car still very new. Try to go into pot holes or faster thru bumps or "sapu" corner to test it out. biggrin.gif
Let me know if anything so we can improve. Thanks!

icecube, referring to the postings made at the autofoam review, what's your say on my questions below.
In view of the above postings, what would you recommend for a new stock Honda Insight? My concern is the road noise. I find the ride a little too harsh for my liking thus I rather not stiffen it further. (given my understanding of what's been posted)

Could you explain the packages involved and its effect? and price too. Do you need to tear up the whole car to do your recommended package?

Added on September 17, 2011, 10:15 am
and what's the difference btw yours and the autofoam.
*
Hi bro, for your new car, its recommended to do the undercarriage first to improve comfort , reduce wind noise and improve handling. Best if you can arrange a day to come over and we will explain more in details on how to improve in and how would it feels after foaming your ride. Sms me to make an appointment. Thanks and cheers.

overall i can said worth the money i invested..the car much more comfort when driving..
but the bad side r...my wallet become thinner and cornering much faster (Tyre need to change faster)  tongue.gif

Thanks for the review bro~

Its a good side if wallet thinner ,if other competitor will be torn or credit card bill become thicker~ LOL
