I'm not sure what plant it is, got it from Mid Valley smile.gif They didnt label their plants. I think it was RM10 for a small pot of it

Added on December 16, 2011, 4:38 pm Btw can CRS stay with fire red cherries? I heard the cherries will dominate the CRS?

anybody use recycled or second hand amazonia before? recently I bought some second hand amazonia from a forumer. he abandoned the tank for few months already.

Any treatment shall i do before putting the soil into a new tank? how long shall I cycle the water?

I currently have a 1 year old 2ft planted tank. Can I re-use the water from water change into the new tank?

from a noob POV after hearing from lfs

used soil may cloud ur water. u either wait till it settle down or dry the soil b4 use

u can use water from ur old tank to quicken the cycle process

what actually is the purpose for cycling the water? I heard it is to remove the ammonia in the new soil. But I'm going to use old soil. still need to cycle the water before putting in fauna and flora.

My first time using soil. my first tank is using sand only. so i have no experience on soil.

where do u get electric blue ram?
my past experience with german blue ram.. dont disturb them too much. or maybe all the eggs/fry will be eaten..
my advice. if u can take out other fish from your tank is better. otherwise siphon/catch all the fry to other tank..

Dun think u need to wash the soil. Let it settle down n some wc. Takes time. Other alternative is cover it with new soil
