I just review the NCAP videos for Insight in youtube. The chassis of Insight seems more rigid compared to Yaris (Prius C base) though both scored 5 stars. However the tested Insight was the one with 7 airbags. I got the feeling honda will add more airbags & up the price.

For me, 2 airbags or 7 airbags, hope we wont have to use them. God forbid.

The side airbags are really important...
Wonder if we can send it to honda for 'upgrades'?

I wont mind paying more for it, as I consider it to be a crucial function... kinda disappointed why they have to cut features out.
If spread across 5, 6 years loan which we all do, what's a few k more for the 5 airbags?

Unless they say the air bags will cost 10k more.... which, shouldn't be la.

Side airbag is secondary... unless you have T-bone from side but if T-bone is a Lorry or SUV / pickup truck at high speed Side Airbag cant really help you much also... you will still end up visiting steve jobs...

Scary. Yes extra airbags is most welcome but i prefer active safety in the form of better handling, wide viewing angle for driver, VSA, good brakes & natural driving position which could prevent collision much earlier...

It should be here soon. Once the 2011 model finish, everything will change to 2012 version.
Only whether they will bring in the 1.5l or not, no one knows.

Guys. Beware of Sh@rty shop. Whoever bought and install spoiler from him do check your spoiler cos it would crack at the bottom near the screw. Mine cracked after two week. Sh@rty said it abs material but abs don't crack right?

Price n interior are not confirmed. Normally will increase around 5k.
After Prius c came out, if Honda didn't add more value to the interior, I'm afraid people will choose Prius c.

Some of you guys always mention the engine size in 1.x cc, bro, 1.5cc is 50% of your semen volume when you are siok! do you want your engine so small?

The engine displacement is in Litre (L), 1L = 1000cc, a 1.5L volume is a typical coca cola bottle (big size)

So remember, coke and cock are different!

ABS is rigid, and 'crispier' as compared to PP/PU which is more elastic, flexible and will bent back after minor impact (the black-based material normally found in OEM bumper like those unpainted bumper on cars after accident).

Theory or possibility cause of the crack could be:
1) The spoiler could have been under stress due to it's original shape does not fit exactly the original bumper, or stressed due to overtighten or wrongly angled attachment screw.
2) There are some defects on the spoiler in the first place originated from manufacturer, during transportation or handling during installation.
3) The spoiler could have come into contact with road surface, speed bump, road curbs or parking ramps during drive.

You can safely rule out point 3 if you do not find any scratch on the spoiler to indicate impact.

Have you contacted Sh@rty and see whether there is any solution to this? If the crack is not caused by what I had mentioned in Point 3, could that then be claimable under any kind of warranty?
