Last Sunday drove from Seremban to KL

Top Speed : 200KM/H
Yes to my surprise this 1.3 can push to 200KM/H

my friend E92 BMW 320 was quite surprise a puny 1.3l engine can keep up with that car...

cannot overtake laa but at 200km/h it is awesome fast for a 1.3!!!

was about to enter main road from the junction, full throttle, IMA showed full assist, but the car was not moving..
VSC light was blinking...
maybe did wheel spin on some "lopak air" there and the car detected something was wrong and activated VSC..  sweat.gif

but, what exactly VSC does anyway?  hmm.gif

The VSA probably saved your life/injuries or your car from a hefty makeover biggrin.gif
Means as you say just now, your car will lose control/over/understeer and u'll most likely crash to the sides without it.

Interesting to see fellow insighter saying their VSA getting activated....
This alone is worth the extra 10k, vs city which iirc don't have VSA!

Even normal driving, Insight handles better than average sedan. With VSA even better. I remembered triggering TSC more frequently on my old Altis compared to VSA on the Insight.

so it has been proved that insight can do 190-200 but

1) how long did it take to reach 190-200?
2) was the engine straining at such speeds?
3) how long can it hold at that speed?

Reading Paultan's post I felt like I have been ripped off by Honda. 2 airbags versus 7 airbags for only 3-4k difference.

Toyota cars have better paint job then Honda.... thats for sure...

And in term of comfort of ride, Toyota cars are better. Honda more towards performance and young generation. smile.gif

I'm going to change my rims to 17" sport rims. Is it necessary to use light weight sport rims, or could be any type of sport rims?

Does it affect the warranty? Anyone knows?

For me to reach 200km/h do not take that long... I still manage to keep up with 320i thats a bmw... that guy floor the BMW as soon it clear the seremban tol booth and I manage to keep up with him... not sure how fast to reach but good enough..

The rpm is boarder to redline as it is CVT so RPM will remain and maintain the higest safe RPM...

But Prius C boot space only 260liters vs Insight 408liters. Insight folded rear seat 5xx liters.
I remembered one of my friend with small family (2 children) squeeze everything in the back of his myvi. Thats what happen on a 2xxliter booted cars.
2nd car it is.

U know malaysian brings children to shopping complex which is in the city, together with everything, stroller, baby basket, toys, milking accs, then shopping, end up putting everything on rear passenger seat.

So a big boot/b;) is a must for malaysian.
