Please go ahead. I believe not only all of us here, but our friend in City and Civic will also join the movement.

10k interval should be ok. Modern engine. For Insight, it should been longer than 5k interval as our engine shuts off when stationary. That alone saves plenty of engine operating hours and could extend engine oil life on specific mileage.

hello fellow insighters,

plan to order mine the earliest 2012 batch. Oredi placed booking. Small part of me wanted to wait for Civic 2012 but wat the heck, why pay more when insight is more expensive than civic in US (USD19k+ vs USD15k+, correct me if i m wrong).

Got one question though, how iphone-friendly is the car? I am a heavy iphone user while driving for musics and GPS.

it has ipod interface only tho. plugging it into the usb will treat your iphone as an ipod.

Yes correct.. u can jog around the playlist with the player center console but not at steering. FYI, the usb CANNOT DETECT normal thumbdrive with more than 4GB!!

frankly speaker, not only SA, but also salesperson at retail shop etc.

to me they are rather useless for getting information from them. a lot of them know nuts about the product, what they try to do is only to push you to buy the product and they get the commission that's all.

that's why i would rather do my own research to understand the product.

I think it depends on your drive's file systems. Maybe it recognizes fat instead of ntfs? I didn't verify this, coz it worked with all 4 of my drives..

All audio storage needs to be in fat32 format... If ur hdd is in ntfs, google to change it to fat32. Needs a program to do so

well, I made a call to HM customer service this morning to enquire about this
According to HM, it is made compulsory for every customers to come back to the SC for car servicing on every 5KM milage/3 months basis whichever comes first to avoid issues concerning warranty claims in future

so, regardless what type of engine oil you use (ie mineral, semi sync or full-sync), u will still need to change it at every 5km interval...so, we can actually opt for the mineral oil for Honda Insight since the lifespan allowed is only 5KM or mayb switch to the SC in Klang biggrin.gif

btw, how did you get the additional RM 40 voucher? I've asked HM to check for me and they told me that the only voucher that HM would provide is the RM20 voucher which I have already used it... ohmy.gif
