Hey all, wanna ask if I moved job internally within a company, will this consider as a job change to MOM? Do I need to get a new pass?

I did wrote some cover letter, mostly i send thru email cos thru job website normally quick apply doesnt have cover letter option. For fresh graduate, normally ur resume is just consist of your qualification, personal details, some internship experience, skills, language right?
Maybe 30+ already... i dont know should i apply for those associate engineer position.. They are for their Diploma, but it is mostly fresh graduate work tho..

Any chance any kind ppl with newspaper help me screen thru any fresh grad opening for materials/manufacturing/mechanical engineering?

But I saw in seek.com, average salary after tax in OZ should be higher than in SG.
Am I wrong? And they have tax benefit, moreover, wife don't need to work and still get money from gov.
They work like a retiree..Maybe if you have a fire belly, why don't you do full time+part time work in OZ.

you said OZ property market is not hot ah? Why do you want someone to report to you? It means your responsible is higher and you don't know your salary is higher or not. If you work in OZ company then someone in other areas will report to you man.

Why do you believe People in Singapore and Shanghai are ahead than Australia whereas People in OZ have higher salary. As you said before, I only look for the higher salary after tax than job's title.

Anyone remember this? I'm surprised the govt didn't sack the whole team. These guys are actually the senior managers at Singapore's MDA (Media Development Authority).

May I know which bank do you all use here? The account that expat can apply needs to have a minimum 5k in it, else it will deduct $ every month..

hmm.. i am kind of wanting to go australia to work, mainly perth or melbourne as i got many friends there. The reason i choose to go there is because of the quality of life that i can get rather than i keep working in SG from day to night like a lifeless zombie.

At some point in your career, EVERYBODY in your peer group can do the job. What makes the difference in promotions is how much they are trusted, their reputation/credibility and who is backing them. You lose all 3 elements each time you change job. You'll find it gets exponentially less common to change employers and increase (or even maintain) your earnings, as you get nearer to the pointy part of the pyramid.



I audited several companies last year from the giant company to small company and I got opportunity to audit their payroll and look the lists of people with their salaries. I am so surprised how company with $1 billions of revenues, the salary structure even lower than company with $100 million of revenues. The giant company only pays huge for the DIRECTOR, it's about US$300k/yr included in bonus but the GM it's only about US$3k/month. this is crazy. they can make good profit when they pay their employees low.

this is where inequality is, I pity people who work there, their turnover rate of people is also small, it's about 0.5%/yr. The giant company has 2500 people whereas the 100 million company has 1000 people. Industry is same, manufacturing. The profit of giant company is US$100 millions where the smaller is only US$12 million.

anyway, what he said is tat he havent got the permission from the big boss from Europe to approve the position's vacancy yet, which mean i cant apply for the position yet...will probably take up the offer from malaysian company.

how long usually it wil take for the employement pass to get approved through and besides that, is there anything that will be an obstacle for employment of malaysian to singapore?
what is the fastest time an employment process (including s-pass etc) can get through if both employee and employer agree on terms?
